One of my favourite things about the photo on this cover, is that it was captured with a camera that ordinarily can’t take a shot like this, and on a day where the lighting conditions were ‘far from correct’. Yet the amazing thing is, nature conspired to format the perfect moment. The weather changed for a second, the energetic bursts of Light revealed themselves, the water and stones posed. Thus, without fancy settings, without filters, without the expertise of a trained operator... the magic you see on our front cover was captured! What a blessing!
For all the daily blessings we receive, (they are there if we are observant), we are still living in challenging times on many levels. As our energetic and physical worlds evolve, we can count our good fortune on one hand, and yet we seem to be constantly resolving old patterns on the other. Old patterns sometimes put up a bit of a fight when asking to be transformed. Feeling discouraged? Well fear not, you are in good company, everyone for various reasons feels like that now and again. In these times, The Little Engine’s mantra...“I Think I CAN...I Think I Can” floods our memories! “Remember”, it toots out to us - remember the power of chugging along! There is a presence within that rises up out of the ashes of those who NEVER give up. So do not dismiss the small victories, and soon enough all the ‘I Think I can’s - little by little becomes I DID IT!
We are happy to announce some dreamers dreams are becoming a reality, with the fall opening of a new ‘enlightened’ store in Nanaimo called The Oracle, and Blue Moon opening a new store in Courtenay. This will be good news to people in those areas and likewise to the ones who periodically comb the Island looking for new treasures. More - there is always room for more.
So, this issue, in the Spirit of the Season, be it Thanksgiving’s Horn of Plenty, or Santa’s Pack, is overflowing with good things. ONE’s mission is to be a place where people can bring different concepts, ways of living together under one roof, with Love, Understanding and Compassion. Some will be surprised to find #articles on hunting, belly dancing and network marketing. Yet that is precisely why they are here. If we are ever going to bring peace to the planet, we must first come to accept the reasons behind another’s truth - to see the ‘SPIRIT’ within EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. As we respectfully educate each other - we bring a loving tolerance to the forefront of human consciousness. It does not mean we always agree, rather we come to peace with WHY another chooses a different path than our own. Challenging times? Perhaps, but a Good Time for all of us to see each other and the world in a New Light!

Crop circles! The very mention of them conjures up images of extra-terrestrials, skepticism and mysticism. What are they, where did they come from, what do they mean and who made them? Is it some ‘mad farmer’ with a tractor and garden shears outside in the dead of night creating these masterpieces? Or is it perhaps some form of higher intelligence (ET?) at work that quietly slips undetected into the wee hours of the night and creates these geometrical feats? While the current data available shows that they have been occurring since ancient times, since the late 1970’s crop circles have been occurring in large numbers. And while they have been reported all over the world, the largest reports of them seems to appear in the County of Wiltshire in England.
Considering the time spent collecting data, analyzing reams of paperwork and collaborating with researchers and individuals, the enigma of these crop formations still remains a mystery. People have used just about every measuring instrument known to man to measure these crop circles. Electro-static volt-meters, Geiger counters, magnetometers and less conventional equipment including metal detectors. However, despite all man’s scientific gadgetry, the one instrument, which has proved reliable in providing solid data, is the simple and humble measuring tape. This tiny device has accumulated information about the size, dimension and proportions of these crop circles.
There are as many theories as to the crop circles origins and meanings, as there are researchers analyzing them. Despite all the speculation on crop circles one thing is agreed. Crop circles change lives. For anyone who has actually visited a bona-fide crop circle people claim they can literally feel a vibration emanating from them. In addition to this, and perhaps one of the most enigmatic parts of the crop circle phenomenon are the mysterious balls of light that have been seen and filmed in and around the crop circles. It has been said that they radiate or reflect a brilliant amount of light for their size and these lights seem to almost have an intelligence of their own, some kind of consciousness. Many who have encountered these lights say there seems to be almost an interaction between the observer and the observed. A recognition perhaps, of another ‘like’ intelligence. For most it is an uncanny and strange experience, for some it can engender a vague sense of familiarity or a sense of the sacred.

This is a crop circle that is foretelling the time of the coming or descending of peace to those life forms dwelling upon Planet Earth. Many times in the history of humanity the dove has been used to mark a new covenant or to signify the beginning of a time of peace. Here you see three doves and this would be similar to a trinity of energy: the first representing power, the second, wisdom, and the third, the unification of worlds. These birds are beautiful and graceful, and so will be the dawning of peace. It will come forth with a measure of grace and dignity as humanity reclaims its voice and its power. There is a word from ancient Lemuria that has been mentioned previously-ESPAVOwhich means “thank you for taking back your power.” And as humanity steps into the fullness of who they are, reclaiming their power, peace will quickly come gliding in on the wings of doves. This second circle, definitely speaks of the Harmonic Concordance. This beautiful formation is so filled with love, light and unity. Crop circles perplex, move, and fascinate us. They create a resonance within us, by their number, geometry and vibration, which transcend our rational mind and speak directly to our hearts. When viewed, they inspire awe, introspection, complete wonderment and speak to us the word... ESPAVO!

Homeopathy is a system of medicine based on stimulating the body’s own healing mechanisms.
Homeopathics use uniquely formulated safe and effective natural medicines that target causes of illness rather than suppressing symptoms. It is based on the law of similars; "a substance that produces certain symptoms in a healthy person can be used to treat the cause of similar symptoms in a person who is sick."
A simple example of this principle can be seen with the common onion. Slicing an onion can cause symptoms of burning and watery eyes, as well as sneezing and a runny nose. Many hay fever sufferers have found dramatic relief from their burning, watery eyes, sneezing and runny nose after taking the homeopathic remedy Allium cepa (the remedy made from red onion). Thus the substance causing symptoms can, as a remedy, also cure them.
Origins of homeopathy are found in ancient writings, and were re-discovered over 200 years ago by German physician Samuel Hahnemann who developed them into the science we know as Homeopathy. Today, the number of people using homeopathy is exploding throughout most parts of the world as people are increasingly trying to avoid the side effects from conventional treatment.
Conventional and Homeopathic principles are very different in their understanding of symptoms and cause of illness. In Conventional treatments the emphasis is on identification and subsequent treatment of the affected body parts through suppression of symptoms. In Homoeopathic treatments the method focuses on the individualisation, the underlying disturbance of the whole person expressed through their bodily symptoms, and treating the cause rather than the symptoms of a particular disease.
Symptoms are the body’s messenger that announces its state of health. That is why Homeopaths consider the individual symptoms of the whole person to be very important. Treatment by merely suppressing symptoms silences the body’s messenger, only to be left to express itself in alternative, often more serious disease. Meanwhile, the body struggles to heal itself, increasingly unable to succeed.
The homeopathic interview is often an unexpected experience for new patients. The presenting problem history, family history, mental and emotional tendencies and other facts seemingly unrelated to your condition will be covered in detail so as to obtain your whole symptom picture. This is to ensure the highest quality treatment. As a consequence, consultations are longer than the usually expected duration. Appointments of 1-2 hours are not uncommon.
Standard physical examination and laboratory tests may also be utilized where necessary. Homeopaths take into consideration conventional medical diagnosis and any underlying pathology in the assessment and management of the case and approach to treatment.
Homeopathy can be effective in treating a wide range of long term (chronic) conditions. Acute everyday illnesses for example, coughs, colds and flus and childhood complaints such as: bed wetting, ear ache, colic, diaper rash, and teething can often be treated more quickly and safely than conventional methods.
Homoeopathy is a leader in preventative health care, because of its focus on the whole person. Therefore, illness can be addressed long before it develops into chronic or acute diseases.

Have you noticed how difficult it is to consistently do the things we say we want to do. How many times have you said to yourself, “Self, no more junk food,” as you reach for one more handful of chips and crunch away with a glass of coke, on the side. Or what about the times you vow to not get into that same old argument ever again with your spouse or brother-in-law or teen-ager. Do you recall how easy it is to read about loving kindness, to believe you are that loving person, and the next minute you lose your temper and say something unkind to one of your loved ones? Yikes!
What is it about us that we so often fail to do the things we so sincerely want to do? We could all come up with stories about why, but in the end about all we can accurately say, like Yoda, is that we did it or we didn’t.
One of the problems with continuing to do the opposite of what we say we want to do is that it becomes easy to give up on ourselves, not to mention the trouble we cause others. Yet, living a constructive life, is not only about outcomes. It is also noticing that when we fall down the stair steps of life’s ladder that we don’t stay there lolling around in the mud. We get up, brush ourselves off and say something like “now what?” “What needs doing now?”
Maybe what needs doing is to get the article written or to apologize to our colleague or to get to class late rather than not go at all, or to use this moment to not say the first thing that comes to mind. There is lots of evidence that the person who eventually gets the job done, or quits smoking, or changes other habits/behaviours they don’t like, is the one who keeps at it. Will power is more than “just doing it.” It is also about starting over and over again.
The Japanese have an ancient proverb, “Seven times down, eight times up.” I find it a useful reminder in my daily life, because it is easy to waste energy and time beating oneself up about all the ways we are not living up to our ideal self. We brow beat ourselves about our failures and inadequacies, about the things we can do nothing about. Yet, in the meantime the things we can do something about we ignore.
Like the spider, whose web has just been demolished, we can get busy spinning another web, rather than ignoring or retreating or defending. As human beings we participate in brokenness and are sometimes selfish, lazy, crotchety, unrealistic or simply high maintenance. This is no reason to give up, or let ourselves off the hook, but rather it can prompt us to begin again, and act as a reminder to be compassionate and humble towards others when they too fall down. This perspective can remind us that neither permanence or perfection is the goal, but putting forth our best effort over and over again.
The Frustration Of Seeking Perfection “One day in the marketplace Mullah Nasrudin encountered an old friend who was about to get married. This friend asked the Mullah whether he had ever considered marriage. Nasrudin replied that years ago he had wanted to be married and had set out to find the perfect woman. First he travelled to Damascus, where he found a perfectly gracious and beautiful woman but discovered she was lacking a spiritual side. Then his travels took him farther to Isfahan, where he met a woman who was deeply spiritual yet comfortable in the world and beautiful as well, but unfortunately they did not communicate well together.” Finally in Cairo I found her,” he said, “she was the ideal woman: spiritual, gracious, and beautiful, at ease with the world, perfect in every way.” “Well,” asked the friend, “did you then marry her?” “No,” answered the Mullah, “unfortunately, she was looking for the perfect man.”

After eons of circling Earth in silent witness to your behavior as the human family, I now choose to offer a reminder of your spiritual commitment to practice the ways of Peace. Love is the nature of your being, and it was expected that you would follow its ways during your physical experience, but shortly after the human experiment began, the pattern deviated slightly from the original intent, with the aberration causing unforeseen misery and retardation of the process.
To do so it differentiated into segments, with each one at birth endowed with free will and a connection with the full scope of intelligence, but with only a faint memory of its former state of spiritual perfection. The pattern chosen for the process was the sexual one, with females and males being born in approximately equal numbers. At first the females assumed the role of teachers in a matriarchal society, while the males served as providers and protectors. However, surrounded as they were by multiplying distractions, and imagining themselves to be separate and alone in a hostile world, some males denied their innate union with source, and formed into cliques to consider their mutual fears.
These groups invented myths and dogmas to support their increasing greed and thirst for power. Consequently in various locations they claimed divine appointment to leadership, usually with one man seizing supreme control. The schemes of all groups included subjugation of women, by making them and their children chattel subjects of their mates, while all other men were declared vassals of the dictator. These were usually tyrants, who to perpetuate their claims, established dynasties to ensure continuation and loyalty from their subjects. To wean the people from remembering their connection with source, they invented a variety of deities. This was the general outworking among all people, with children being taught from birth that their welfare depended on paying fealty to the self proclaimed leaders.
Conflicts quickly erupted, leading to patterns of intolerance, hatred, and spilling of blood. To counter this trend toward race extinction, a few men and women of integrity arose to set a living example of how to maintain their innate connection, while encouraging others to do likewise. Even though most of them were reviled and killed by the people they lived among, their teachings have had a balancing impact, with later interpretations being used as the basis for new theologies.
One of the principal distractions for maintaining control was the notion that time is a commodity, which enabled the usurpers to keep their subjects in a state of instability, with mixed feelings of guilt and fear, thus distracting them from the possibilities of the present moment. Along with the notion of separation, these have been powerful, yet subtle tools for control, retarding the evolution that was intended. In respect for your inherent free will, Love encourages but never intervenes, allowing you to evolve in whatever way you choose, whether miserably or with gratitude, all the while exerting your personal influence on the evolution of the whole. Its spirit of unconditional forgiveness always provides the way back to the intended path, regardless of how far you may have strayed.
Whenever you choose to open your heart in commitment to living according to Love’s ways, you become as a little child, reborn and beginning anew. I am glad to report that millions of you have done this, and are reaping the rewards of inner peace and contentment. I now encourage those who still struggle for anything, to surrender to Love’s spirit of compassionate kindness, and enjoy the same blessings. When all people have done this, it will open the way for benefits beyond imagining.
Since the only real time is the present moment, your opportunity for continuing creativity is to witness and relate wisely to the passage of events across that instant which is both narrow and all encompassing. It always provides unlimited possibility for positive choice and action. I leave you now in gratitude for what you have accomplished, and shall continue to shower my benediction upon you as I sail across your sky.

Long ago, astronomy and astrology went hand in hand. Gardening by the phase of the moon isn’t a new idea. It has been documented that many ancient cultures were guided by the moon in their agriculture.
The effect of the moon on this planet’s bodies of water is the reason this phenomenon works. The movement of the moon around earth affects the ebb and flow of our tides. This is caused through the magnetic pull of our moon. The moon’s forces affect not only our ocean’s tides but also the water within our earth, in the soils, within plants and in our own bodies.
So not only do we plant by the phases of the moon, we also harvest by it. During the “moist” times of the moon, typically the first, second and third phases are the most receptive for planting. The first phase, or the new moon, is a wonderful time to plant the most tender of plants. As we progress through the phases we see that after the full moon, the third phase, the water has started to draw down, and makes way for the planting of root crops, such as potatoes, bulbs, and other roots.
Harvesting, traditionally, is done either during the fourth phase, or during the moon’s occupations in the barren signs. During these times, the water has made a temporary hiatus, ensuring good dry conditions for seed collection.

Our wonderful universe is seething with energy. Einstein wrote...“that all forms of matter are light waves in motion. All colors represent energy of light waves that are in motion, vibrating at distinct and measurable rates.”
No matter what we feel, see, hear, touch or smell it is still energy. It is only when the source energy is lowered to a certain vibration that it actually manifests itself as a physical form. Since all physical things are energetic, it is only the rate of its vibration (frequency) that makes things appear solid.
Matter is composed of atoms and atoms are the primary building blocks of the universe. Practically everything in our reality is basically made up of the same stuff. In an overly simplistic view, the earth is made up of elements and minerals which when broken down into smaller and smaller particles becomes atoms. Inside the atom is protons, neutrons and electrons and broken down further we get into quantum physics where matter is energy and energy is matter. The human body is made up of billions of billions of atoms that eventually make up our physical bodies. Our bodies are basically made up of the same things on earth, in different combinations and quantities. The crystal we have in our bodies is in the form of silica molecules. The silica molecules that are the building blocks of our tissues consist of the exact same manifestations of the sand on our beaches! The iron molecules in our bodies have the exact same manifestations of iron molecules as the nails in our homes.
Quartz crystals are truly amazing. They will vibrate at frequencies measured in the million of seconds. They are both pyro-electric (generating energy when heated or cooled) producing an electric current when it is influenced by an electric field and piezo-electric (generating energy when struck), meaning they also have the ability to transmit and amplify electromagnetic energy. This is the reason why many people who ring crystal bowls say they can literally feel their entire body vibrating because we are electro-magnetic energy. Crystals can be programmed with thoughts, knowledge, ideas and information. Thinking wonderful and uplifting thoughts while holding a crystal will match that vibration of thought and will continue resonating with that thought long after we’ve forgotten about it. Remember, positive thoughts create positive action. If you hold a crystal in your hand the heat generated by your body will excite the molecules and intensify the crystal’s effectiveness. Simply holding a crystal in your hand will raise your vibration.
How does this happen? The Law of Resonance states that everything in the universe is made up of energy of varying frequencies. When two similar vibrations (like attracts like) meet they can do either of two things. They can adjust themselves slightly until both are vibrating at the same identical frequency, which creates a third stronger field of energy called a resonant field. If the two vibrations are not similar, the weaker vibration MUST raise its vibration to that of the higher vibration until it is vibrating at the same frequency. Because our bodies contain the same minerals as that of quart crystal we benefit because their rate of vibration is higher than ours, and the Law Of Resonance states that we MUST match that of the higher vibration. This law of resonance is the foundation for all vibrational healing.
Everything that we are, body/mind/soul exists within a certain energy frequency range. When a negative thought or physical ailment appears our body’s rate of vibration lowers. In order to correct the imbalance, we must raise up our vibration to restore our health. Crystals resonate with the greater energy field of the Earth. The reason we react so strongly to crystals is because our bodies contain minerals that are drawn into resonance with the higher vibration of the crystal. Utilizing sound, light, color and crystals is a very powerful way to manipulate our bodies to raise their vibration. Here is what is truly amazing! Let’s say you are holding a small crystal in your hand. The earth’s energetic field contains the vibration of every crystal on the planet. While you are holding this wee crystal it is resonating with every other crystal on the planet! You are now tapped into one very LARGE VIBRATION! You don’t need to physically hold a crystal in order to reap its benefits. We are electro-magnetic energy and as soon as you enter a room full of crystals your body will automatically be adjusting itself to match that of the higher vibration!
In issue #45 of ONE, there was an article on crystal skulls. They are believed to be about 26,000 years old and may have come from Atlantis or Lemuria. A recurring claim is that they are repositories of hidden information of some kind. The idea is that an advanced race created the skulls, encoded them with vast quantities of data; perhaps a record of their lost people, prophesies of future events, or a complete history of earth. We are fortunate that Star Moser, who has been working with some of the original crystal skulls will be at the Body Soul and Spirit Expo in Victoria and Vancouver in October. This is a unique opportunity to speak with her and learn more about these ancient artifacts.

“the fruit is already in the seed”
Grandfather worked in the garden everyday, digging, planting, trimming and watering in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Late in October he would stick these big brown bulbs in the ground—they were like huge seeds.
Nothing would come up till the snow had all melted, then in Spring, beautiful flowers would burst out of the ground. It’s been many years since Grandpa passed and I’ve often wondered about how that garden resembles my life now…
Ano Ano— “the seed” is a Hawaiian metaphor of how life works. Every thought I have is a seed that will grow in accord with my beliefs. If a thought is a healthy one, it will bear healthy fruits and flowers. If it is not, it will grow weeds that choke the flowers. If my beliefs are healthy then my thoughts, actions and deeds will show this, and bear good fruit.
Every morning as I’m waking, I plant my first seeds for the day. My journey through the day grows from my first thoughts. So I choose to think “Welcome to a brand new day of infinite possibilities, Wayne.” Or “Good morning God, it is so awesome to be in a body, thanks!” I sit up in bed in a loose lotus, lean on the wall and clear my mind, and drop into my heart for a few deep breaths of sweet sacred stillness. Space is a clearinghouse for static in my mind and body circuits. This ‘drop-in’ nourishes my seeds with Mana-Divine power. Then my heart gets involved and as it opens gracefully, joy begins to spring forth from my very being as clear waves of Aloha Mana-Divine Love emanate through my life.
I allow Being in my sacred heart chamber to cleanse my body, mind and feelings, and my whole day grows from this sweet communion with the Divine within.
We all are planting seeds in every moment, with every thought, gesture and glance. To be aware of what creations we are watering each moment, is Self-Mastery. Huna ‘the secret knowledge’ of Hawaii, would say – “Focus on what is working in any given circimstance and it will grow!” Whatever we place our attention on, becomes our life experience.
Just like in the garden with Grandpa, everywhere he placed his love things would grow very well. My life is the same way — so many times when I’m separated from my loved ones, I feel alone and disconnected, just like the bulbs waiting for the cold snow to thaw. But then while in my sacred heart chamber, I can feel so connected to others and one in spirit through the coldest most painful circumstances.
In ancient times the Hawaiians knew how to manifest or bring things into being using their ability to merge with the spirit in all things. Using their breath and imagination was very powerful in bringing about change. They knew that belief was the key to receiving. If they believed deeply enough, anything could be received. This is Aloha Mana, the Divine Power of Love — God’s gift to us.
We can actually have anything we truly believe in. So be aware of each seed that you plant and nurture the ones that warm your heart and set you free. Nourish the ones that heal everyone they touch and bring joy to the world.

Dowsing or witching for water has been around for decades. Whether it was the guy down the road asking his neighbor to search for underground water, or the woman who happily tested a pregnant friend’s tummy to determine the sex of a child, many of us probably grew up knowing a dowser.
Just as musicians have to practice in order to perfect their skill, so too can we learn to dowse and fine-tune this inherent skill that is within each of us. There are just a few basic facts we need to know and learn • We live in a spiralling universe where convergent and divergent energies are constantly moving through things. • We can take note of these patterns simply by deciding to, and more importantly, • we can affect these energetic flows by the force of our desires. We are not discussing spiritual gifts here, this is a basic human skill.
One of the most powerful dowsers I have had the privilege to know was a little old lady in Vancouver who used a worn, stained bathtub plug hanging off its chain to custom-plan a vitamin/mineral regimen for friends’children whenever they were sick. She was unpretentious and matter-of-fact about the whole process, and her results were amazing. She impressed everyone with her ability to be concise, objective, and detached from the results of her queries, while, at the same time, radiating good humour and compassion. This worked!
For years I jerked myself around using muscle testing and a pendulum, however, I found I was usually manipulating the answers. It took me a long time to learn to recognize how it felt to be detached, while still focusing on preciselyworded questions. The breakthrough for me came when I seriously started to dowse in order to see whether the highway was safe for me to drive during severe winter weather. I learned to get out of my own way and allow myself to receive the information. This changed my life, because the answers I received were reliable.
A factor in our humanness is, we are multi-levelled. Our subconscious and our superconscious can, and do, answer for us. As a result, we must learn to be vigilant while we dowse, or we will be deluded.

This can happen if one is not careful. Let’s play with an example. Someone has decided to hold a workshop and is wondering if they should advertise, so they decide to use the pendulum to find the answer to this question.
Q. Do I have to advertise for this workshop to be successful?
A. No (answer - we have free will and don’t have to do anything
- for another, perhaps unconsciously we may have a habit of selfsabotage)
hmmmmm, let’s ask another way.
Q. Will it be better for me to advertise this workshop?
A. No (answer - perhaps we may be frightened, and if we are
successful and many people attend, there may be more reasons to
fear around that issues).
Q. Is it for my highest good to advertise this workshop?
A. Yes (if subconscious goal is to get over the fear by exposure)
No (if subconscious goal is to learn more first)
Perhaps in the beginning, ask these questions.
Do I have any subconscious blocks to holding this workshop?
Am I completely open to this workshop being a success?
And so on…
There are other factors that also affect the outcome either by muscle testing or using a pendulum. These are a result of our level of self-care. Are we drinking enough water, are we well rested, are we stressed, are we too close to electromagnetic interference, are we too emotional to receive correct answers? Our thoughts can also dramatically influence our bodies.
“Energy flow becomes disrupted, scrambled, scattered and blocked here and there. In any of these non-functional polarity states, we’re not likely to obtain accurate information from dowsing.” 1.
We are so fortunate, because there are many books and articles on this topic, as well as very well-qualified therapists who are making themselves available to teach dowsing.
So, practice this skill, because you are constantly assessing the flows of energy around you anyway (albeit unconsciously). Start with something silly; can I have chocolate mousse for breakfast? Does my body require more water for perfect health? Is it safe to let go of this fear? Ask questions about road safety, the whereabouts of lost items, then move on to directing peaceful thoughts to those around you.
Join me in taking a deep breath of gratitude for this wonderful innate ability, and give thanks for the acceptance of this age old tool. Smile when you see someone pausing over the broccoli in the produce section, perhaps they are dowsing for dinner.

What If You Could Really Do What You Wanted To Do AND Still Make A Living?
Autumn and winter are often times for reflection about where we are in life. Many people reflect on whether they are passionate about how they make a living or whether they simply work to afford to do the things they really feel passionate about?
Many people, when asked to describe how they feel about their work-a-day life, say: “I feel trapped and bored.”; “I’m not the person I want to be.” Some people think: “I won’t compromise my ethics.”; “I hear the call and can’t ignore it any longer.” Often, after being witness to events that change others lives drastically, people lament: “Life is too short!” According to, Marty Nemko of the California Job Journal, if you have uttered these words it may indicate you are lacking passion for your work. And of course, you’re not alone.
What does being passionate about your work look like? Indian Professor Arindam Chaudhuri has said: “people who are passionate at work laugh while at work, they like reasonable challenges and do not like excessive odds against their success nor too easy tasks.” People who are passionate about their work involve their whole being in the job at hand, recognize the importance of the relationships at work and select experts as work colleagues. Often those who appreciate the work environment, the things around them and the goodness in others are people living their passion.
If you are one of those people who loses track of time at work because you are so involved in your projects, you’re probably passionate about what you’re doing. People with passion at work are said to live “in-process”. They always have some project underway and work with so much enthusiasm that they feel the lack of time to get everything done. Passionate people often describe time as a “galloping horse”, “a bird in flight”, or “a fleeing thief”. They don’t like to be bound by routines and schedules. They are often active initiative takers. Others describe passionate workers as pioneers, adventurers, and people willing to leave the present and venture into the unknown.
If this doesn’t sound like the way you feel about how you make a living, how can you change that? Of course, each of us has responsibilities to ourselves and our families. Making a plan to work more passionately can be the first step toward a more fulfilling work life and, by extension, a more fulfilling life. Have you thought of making a plan to “escape” to your passion in the near future? Have you ever made a list of all the skills you have that you would like to use in this more passionate work (skills you may have been gained through work, leisure activities or at workshops or seminars).
Some of the more direct routes down new paths may include volunteering your time in a place you would really love to work, or taking courses in your field of passion. For help planning new paths, seek out coaches, counselors or workshops on finding your passion, developing your portfolio and/or volunteer. You will be investing in you, in loving what you do. Take your heart and mind to work; you will be amazed by the change in how you feel.

Several years ago I met a woman in Calgary. She used a pendulum for dowsing with a book of 31 charts. I was very intrigued by her phone conversation about this work she called ‘Spiritual Response Therapy’ for clearing our soul blocks.

The opposite of connected and successful is to feel separate and a failure. I felt this way just a little over a year ago. I also felt “burned-out” in my busy alternative therapies practice. I felt trapped. I knew there were only just so many hours in a day and the harder and longer I worked, the end result was still just me working by the hour. There was a definite ceiling to my earning power.
I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and health and be wealthy too. My observation was that spiritual, caring people either worked incredible hours like me and “burned-out” or were constantly short of cash flow. There had to be another way!
I found it! I also learned that I should “never say never”. Before January last year, I would never have sold a product. Nurses never do that. I would never have been a part of multi-level marketing or network-marketing (NWM). I grew up falsely believing this meant illegal pyramid-schemes. I would never be a part of health fairs. I would never focus on being part of a group— I was too busy.
Now here I am, the leader of a dynamic group of Network Marketers (NWM); sharing our highly ethical, spiritually-connected, and life-saving health-prevention products; attending health fairs; and financially successful too! All that changed was my beliefs and the world opened up for me in just 9 months!
How did I create this turnaround? I learned that my beliefs about NWM were dinosaurs. Flower essences – those wonderful energies that nature has given us! Not to be confused with aromatherapy, flower essences are the energy of flowers, transferred to water and preserved in brandy. Flowers are picked in the morning, placed in a clear bowl of spring water and left in the sun to potentize the healing water. Brandy is usually used to preserve not only the water, but also the vibration of the essence. This was the method developed by Dr. Bach in the 1930’s and is used by most essence producers. Flower essences are by far the most well known of vibrational essences, but you can also find them made from gems, minerals, animals, the environment and spirit.
Flower and other vibrational essences work on our energetic bodies to keep us balanced. Too much or too little of anything can tilt the balance of our well being, creating minor discomfort to chaos and disease. Essences help bring us back to center so we can cope with our life challenges.
Essences support, stabilize and maintain healing, and because they can be used in so many ways, they are easy to incorporate into all healing modalities. I often put essences on my hands and do Reiki on my clients. The treatment seems to be enhanced with this method.
When I took a short course in Korean Hand Massage, I could hardly wait to massage essences into people’s hands. Dandelion essence worked well to relieve minor stiffness of arthritic hands. It can be used topically on chakras or the whole bottle can simply be placed on the chakra to shift the energy.
Flower essences also work cooperatively with other
products. A friend and I made up sprays we call IridEsScents,
which combine aromatherapy, colour and essences. The
three energies are synergistic in their effect. My friend uses
them to clear her clients’ energy fields, while I use them to
clear and enhance the energy of the room. Practitioners also:
• use essences in their massage oils, or directly on to reflexology
and acupressure points.
• give them to their clients following a healing session to
support the work that has been done.
• use them to keep themselves grounded, centered and
protected during the healing they give to clients.
Yarrow is a great essence for protection. I blend white, pink and yellow yarrow together for protection from electromagnetic radiation, from picking up other people’s emotional “radiation”, and from things I ingest. I have even put the essence ‘Love in the Mist’ into my face cream in the morning, and I feel more radiant knowing the energy surrounds me. The world does look more beautiful. You can also put some in a relaxing bath and immerse yourself in the energy.
People often ask me about using them with allopathic medications. As an asthmatic with 2 asthmatic children I made up a blend I called Breathing Free. This takes away chest tightness in our mild cases and decreases the amount of times we need to use our inhalers during severe attacks. It also seems to enhance the effectiveness of our medication. Others using the blend have reported similar reactions.
The energy of the essences can even be used for distance healing. I do an energetic transfer of the energy, and then send a bottle of a blend of essences to support and maintain the work done. As with any energetic healing, there is no diagnosis or claims, just a great many retrospective stories!
These are some of the ways flower and other vibrational essences can be used. Alone, they can be very powerful healers. When combined with other healing modalities, both are enhanced and the essences help support the shifts. With a little imagination, essences can be incorporated into any healing practice to add an extra spark.

As we come closer to the earth and arrive at that place of recognition that other things must give up their lives in order for us to continue ours, we are faced with the choice either to become full of negative emotion – anger, guilt, sadness – or to acknowledge with gratitude the gift of other lives to our own.
Our society, mainstream society in North American or Europe, does not allow in its teachings the possibility that something might freely give its life so something else might live. Existence in the wild is presented as a struggle, full of fear, violence and anger. In my experience, this is more a mirror of our own culture than a true representation of any other view of life.
One of my favourite stories of a different way comes from a friend, a medicine woman who lives near The Four Corners in the southwestern US. She told me of a time when she was a little girl not long after the First World War. She went to her grandfather and asked him to tell her what it was like to be a hunter. He looked at her and said, “I not hunter.”
“But grampa, the people talk about how you used to go out and get meat when no one else could find any!”
He paused for a long time, then said (imagine here the speech cadence and pronunciation of an old Native man, accented by years of speaking his own tongue), “Aaaaah. Get meat... Yesss.
“Some times, winters get cold an’ long. Nobody bring home any meat, an’ without food the women are cryin’, the babies are cryin’.
“So I get my rifle an’ I walk. I go out of the house an’ I go to the hills. Up, up, up, then down, down, an’ up, up again. Then I come to a place, and I stop there. “I call to the Great Spirit, an’ I say, Great Spirit, my people are hungry. The babies got no meat, the women got no meat, an’ they cry.
“Then I wait. … “An’ I wait. …
“After I wait awhile, a deer come along, an’ he stop an’ look at me. I shoot ‘im. When I get home, everybody happy, ‘cause they have meat again.
“But I not hunt. I never hunt.”
This story illustrates an attitude to other life, and to our place among that life and within the Great Mystery. It reminds us of techniques for finding and approaching animals. Along with that it is important how we clean and handle the animal’s body. All of these aspects must be approached with an attitude of respect and gratitude to all of Creation for its gifts. These attitudes and ceremonies are equally appropriate, and equally needed in our society, whether the life being taken is that of a carrot or that of an elk. It is simply about taking responsibility for the life, whether that life is broccoli or blacktail.

Oh Happy Day, Oh Happy Day...I Love to sing...like a rock n’roll King! oh oh Well here I AM getting ready for the BIG full moon event in November. Stretching the old vocal cords, dusting off my Archangel Micheal Blue Suede Shoes...and like the heavens are suggesting, being Happy Happy with my life and grateful for being here on Planet Earth right NOW for the big Shhooow. (that’ my old friend ED Sullivan talkin).
I’ll be dancing under the moon with the rest of you in one heart for the world (see pg 32). ONE for ALL and ALL for ONE as the 3 mouse-kateers used to say. A dog has to be careful when speaking those words though, because in a flick of a whisker, those feline friends of mine could come flying round the corner on wings of light...to chase the poor mice away. Although…the higher sources indicate that the felines are instrumental in helping us hold these new higher vibrations so you may notice kitty sleeping more and leaving the to play in peace.
I’m sorry to say I’ve lost two more of my beloved feline friends. So this concept of grieving is big in my mind. It is generally accepted that children / adults can be emotionally upset by the passing of a family pet but so are the animals. It does not matter if it is a dog, cat, goldfish or alligator. If the pets who are left behind have had a close association with the one departed, there will be a period of grieving. Here at the nest, the brother cats were definitely depressed. Months later, an animal communicator confirmed, the sometimes “vacant look” was the result of missing the loved ones. An internal meditation, searching within for an energetic presence.
If you want to be very thoughtful you can actually talk out loud to your animals about their sorrow, explain it is a natural process. Sometimes the pet tries to be the strong one, supporting the needs of the family before their own. Tell the animal how much you love them. Occasionally, because there is so much attention on the loss, the remaining pet feels like they are not wanted. Of course ‘you’ logically know this is not so, but a grieving animal is not always logical. They feel your sorrow - they want to ‘be enough’ for you. They feel that they cannot fill the place of the missing one or that they have to do twice as much to fill the energetic gap. It’s a heavy load to handle really. So please make sure you reassure that they are loved as much as always - that you are both sad and together you will recover from your sorrow. Tell them you love them just the way they are now and that you don’t want them to change. You might think this is crazy, but take it from an old dog, you’ll see a big difference. And that big difference is cause for celebration!
Eh...did someone say Celebration!!! I LOVE to celebrate and for that very reason, Fall is one of my favorites. I call this the Treat Season. Yummyummm - Think about it, there is that most abundant Thanksgiving - a great time for a dog to be strategically placed under the table! Then let’s not forget the night of dress-up, when various bags of sweets come through the door. Ah yes, the 3 C’s = Chocolate, Chips and Candy.
However, I’d best remind you, that dogs in particular don’t have much self restraint in these matters. As much as we love them, the 3C’s can actually make us very sick. I had a near death experience myself as a young ‘tail-wagger’. (that also helps me deal with the passing of my friends - I KNOW there is more on the other side). I still remember how bad I felt, especially since I had to go to the vet. Unfortunately, there is something to the saying, ‘too much of a good thing”. Now aside from the occasional birthday, December floweth over with great holiday parties celebrated by various religious groups/and non religious groups. Then there is the big 25th to end the year with a rolly polly tummy stuffing event. Yup, time may be shifting but us dogs still gotta eat! Oh yes, in defence of the old gobbler, consider checking out a vegetarian turkey this year. Taste real good they do!
Speaking of the Big 25, remember to protect the ‘climbers’ (cats) and the nawers (bunnys, gerbils etc) from trees and electrical wires. Be safe and full of abundance!

For years I have made it a practice to seek the council of “the inner voice that has many names” when looking for insights into issues that seem confusing. Many people call this process “meditation” and identify the source of their knowing as “intuition”. Some feel it comes from angels or guides or their Higher Self (to name a few) and call it “channeling”.
Could it possibly be that intuiting and channeling are really one and the same and the information is from the same source when all is said and done? It is my belief that this is so. But no matter what the “source”, the results are often a greater understanding of the situation in question thereby providing an opportunity for personal growth and self empowerment.
As a student of meta-physics I have participated in countless “channeling” sessions that involved other people. My sister Gail and I began our spiritual partnership journey 10 years ago. We met on a regular basis to channel for ourselves and others. Shortly after that we discovered we could communicate with a source of wisdom beyond what we felt we had. We knew very little about the process though it seemed to be like driving a car- we didn’t have to know how it actually worked to make it go, but GO it did!
Over the years we have tried to understand and explain what we were experiencing. In the early days we felt we were in communication with “Beings” that were very separate from ourselves and far greater in some way. We called these “Beings” our guides and names were assigned to personalize them. Our humanism, we were told, required this. It was part of the process and it brought some measure of comfort to this very strange and awe-inspiring experience we were having.
People came for “readings” to receive guidance and they were given a “higher perspective” of their situation but the actual work of applying the information to create change was entirely their choice. Some used it, some didn’t. Most situations in life have a bigger picture attached to them. We felt the “higher perspectives” offered could not have come from us because we were not usually privy to extra information, therefore, it must have come to us and through us (hence the term “channeling...)
Answers came in a variety of ways-sometimes producing a big “AH HAH!” often referred to as a “light bulb moment”. Sometimes growing from a small glimmer of understanding to a greater awareness of the “truth” of the matter over a period of time, like turning up the dimmer switch on a light.
Occasionally someone would come back with the same questions over and over. It appeared they were looking for answers that did not involve taking responsibility for choices they’d made. The guidance given was always provided in a way that made sure no one’s power of choice was taken away. This means no one was told they HAD to do anything except decide for themselves what would work best. Often the insights or suggestions were given “metaphorically” so that the real work of what to do was left up to the individual. An example of this would be when someone was told they has just “topped the family tree” and given encouragement not to go into “guilt” around it. The individual would then have to use their own intuition around the message and once they felt they understood it they could then proceed to ask more questions to gain more understanding if it was needed.
Sometimes people seemed reluctant to make any choices based on their own inner wisdom, and had begun to rely on a “reading” for guidance. These were wonderful opportunities for all of us to learn more about empowerment in relationship to channeling. Humans love to give advice and we were no different. As the “channelers” of the information we were challenged to stay away from thinking “we knew what was best” and the “receivers of the information” were challenged to use discernment to help them make decisions that felt “right” to them instead of listening only to what “others” had to say. It is always cause for celebration when someone “takes their power back”!
As we continue to practice this process of communication with the non-physical realm, we still give our channeling sources individual identities. We do not, however, believe we are “less” than or “separate” from them to the same degree as we once did. In this respect we have gained an expanded sense of empowerment. Our beliefs are changing and every new plateau of understanding becomes our “truth” and is appropriate as we develop. This gives rise to the feeling that “truth” is a very personal and ever-evolving perception of the way life is and we do our best to honor the existence of all “flavors” of the truth without giving up our own.
Moving from a path of Surviving to Thriving by becoming more self empowered enables us to begin to enjoy who we really are-beautiful souls expressing in human form! Facing East is what is now referred to as an ‘East Meets West’ band. Their second album, Facing Beloved combines an innovative use of instruments and rhythms from India, blended with American and European melodies and styles. There is definitely an influence of jazz surfacing here, as well as classical overtones, uniquely blending with a dash of New Age instrumentalism. This group has gone beyond the traditional and have incorporated their Celtic background on 2 tracks-successfully we might add! The latest album from singer and poetic composer SERAH called Late Harvest has a sound that bridges between pop, folk, African and New Age. Its underlying purpose is to assist you to improve your aura and hence improve your life. Directly after graduation and in the years when people were heading to Tibet to contemplate peace, I chose the ‘concrete’ path to enlightenment.
One day as I walked along Broadway Street beside the Seattle Community College I spotted a clean young man with a cardboard sign that matched his words. “Give you a compliment for a penny,” he said. Well that brought a huge grin to my face. “Go ahead” I gestured.
He said, “your eyes are so alive and your smile is infectious.” Well, who was I to argue? I dug deeply into my blue jean pocket! Surely his words were beyond the value of a penny. I placed all of my American change into his waiting hand. Right on top of the pile, was a beautiful shiny dime! A dime! The very thought of it and I go sailing back to my childhood, to the days of high finance where I was given 10 cents and had my way paid into the theatre every week. What more could a kid want? That ten cents epitomized the proverbial ship coming in...the ship that was literally stamped on its silver face. As soon as I got mine, I clutched it firmly inside the pouch of my left hand. Choices are what governs results. I was now in the revered position of making a choice. To spend or not to spend? Ten cents could buy a bottle of orange Fanta or a Popsicle with 4 cents change. Often I sat with a huge smile across my face inside the darkened theatre sipping through a straw. I can still hear the cords of “the Yellow Rose Of Texas.”
Nowadays when I get change, I still look for the dimes and sacredly place them in my coffee tin. They remind me of the 1972 European 2-month back-pack trip where my airfare was paid for in dimes. Over twenty years later, although inflation has taken its toll, they recently bought a book of 10 return ferry trips to Denman/ Hornby Islands!
I give thanks to the guidance of my youth. Those silver boats taught me to appreciate the principle of plenty, small but mighty, and a host of others. Many small things, however insignificant they seem on their own, have a power when they come together to work as a unit. Whether they are pennies, people or ideas, small things can add up to something MUCH greater.
Where my next hand full of dimes will take me—ONE never knows!

Why is it that when you retire and finally have time to do the things you’ve promised yourself you’d do “one day”, some people just don’t have the energy to follow their dreams. As a nation, we’re living longer, but not necessarily enjoying it very much.
There are those enthusiastic seniors who seem to be involved in everything. They have a wonderful family life, do fulfilling volunteer work, take part in activities and trips with other seniors, and have an unquenchable curiosity for exploring new things. They look the picture of health and vitality. Then there are those who don’t seem so lucky. They have few friends, have lost their spouse (along with some of their self-esteem and purpose), have poor eating habits, don’t exercise, and have allowed “old age” to take over their bodies. Illness and physical ailments become their life.
The medical establishment seems to be more intent on prescribing medications to make seniors comfortable with their conditions – instead of attacking them at the root cause ...lack of exercise, water, and a diet of nutritious whole foods.
Exercise – both aerobic and light strength training – helps you remain independent, manage stress, sleep better, & gives you the endurance to work and play longer. Strength training alone helps you re-build bone density and conditions muscles, tendons and ligaments, while lowering the risk of everyday injuries. So. . . where do you get the energy from in the first place to be able to exercise? It all comes from drinking water and eating whole foods.
Drinking enough pure water everyday is vital for every cell in your body and brain. It is crucial for both your physical and mental well-being. The number of diseases that can be prevented or reversed by the addition of water to the diet is staggering. Whole books have been written on the subject!
In addition to water, your body craves a variety of Whole Foods. Food that contains none of the refined, processed ingredients that are the cause of most diseases today. Food the way nature intended. Food your body naturally knows how to process and utilize. Oh how we’ve wished for that!
Let’s face it, this isn’t just about seniors. We all want to experience a high quality of life – while we’re young, and as we age. Unfortunately we tend to lead such busy lives or are at the mercy of health issues, we don’t find and prepare the kind of food our bodies crave, so we continue living a degenerating lifestyle until a crisis hits.
My own father got his “wake up call” when he was 40; an ‘inherited’ heart problem! His response was to go on a “quest for health” through alternative medicine and supplements. He never expected to reach 70, and sure enough, at age 69, his heart specialist spoke those dreaded words “Go home, and get your affairs in order. There’s nothing more we can do for you.” Still, he didn’t give up! He found EDTA chelation, started eating better and he is now 80 years young!
My dad’s search also introduced him to food from the Brain Garden and he is a changed man. This is truly the food we “wished for” earlier—whole raw food you don’t have to spend hours preparing. Food that’s available whenever you feel the desire for a snack. He’s now vibrant, full of energy and recently spent 8 hours at the VIEX fall fair! He loves to share his story with other seniors and help them regain their health and zest for life. It’s an alternative to costly drugs, a life of pain and ill health, and a remedy for depression. It will certainly enhance the quality of your life and it just might lengthen it! As for Dad—he’s now aiming for 100!

Simple, if we aspire to bring the world to a place of harmony for all...we need to change our preconceived ideas about the unknown, about people and other cultures. When we take the time to discover who they are…their history, another facet of our beautiful world opens up for us. We EXPAND…as we are presented with another opportunity to joyfully shift and change. That said...we are proud to present to you...Ramona!
As a Middle Eastern dance artist, I am often ap proached with a few standard questions. “How old is bellydance?”, “Where is it from?”, and “How did you learn?”. I would like to share with you now, just a glimpse of the truly provocative and mysterious, yet tastefully sensual and dignified art form most commonly known in the Western world as “Bellydance.”
I shall begin with bringing clarity to the variances in terminology used to describe this alluring dance. The word “bellydance” is the most recent term used by the Western culture to refer to this feminine display of beauty and movement that originates from the Middle East. Differing from region to region, bellydance is more commonly known as “Raks Sharqi”, “Beledi”, “Oryantal Tansi” (in Turkish), Danse Orientale or Dance of the East, depending upon the area from which it originates. The Western world was first introduced to the sensuous art form at the turn of the century, 1890, when an amazing and eloquent dancer by the name of “Little Egypt” brought the dance to the World Exposition in Chicago. The name was ‘perverted’ in a sense to “bellydance” from the belief that this would attract more people to the World Fair, and thus the French coined the term “Danse du Ventre” or bellydance. Today, more often than not, dance instructors often use the phrase to market classes in the realization it is more recognizable to the general public. (I like the term, as there’s nothing wrong with bellies! —and there’s nothing wrong with dancing!).
Because the dance form has roots in the creation of new life and childbirth, there is a movement among some circles of dancers to maintain the term “bellydance” to honor the abdomen as sacred and respect its connection to the dance. Other performers will refer to themselves as “Middle Eastern” or “Oriental Dance Artist” to avoid the vulgar connotation the term bellydance has acquired throughout the century through public misunderstanding and ignorance.
Bellydance is as old as the Bible itself, and most probably pre-dates any other form of artistic movement. The first dancers were gypsies that travelled from India to Egypt and along the Nile. As living the life of a gypsy inherently meant economic hardship, the women would dance for their earnings and place this currency on their hip belts to display this ‘dowry’ of wealth, thus the recognizable equivalence between bellydance and the infamous “coin belt”. There is also fact based in the notion that bellydance evolved as a ritual to assist fellow women in the process of childbirth, emulating undulations, flutters and deep breathing movements to strengthen the abdomen, as taught in the widely accepted childbirth preparation teachings of the Lamaze Method. This is not to say that as a bellydancer I am preparing for childbirth every time I dance! The dance form has certainly evolved into a wide array of styles today, yet it maintains its roots and base in coordinated and intricate abdominal muscular feats.
Bellydance originates from all corners of the Middle East; Turkey, Lebanon, Tunisia, Egypt, Morroco, Algeria, and on. Styles can greatly vary from one area to the next, yet a dancer may specialize in a style from a specific region, or create a more ‘eclectic’ form and draw upon movements from a variety of countries. Personally, I have an affinity with the Arabic or Egyptian dance form. I adore its balletic and highly choreographed footwork with its Classical aura and particularly exquisite beaded or sequined costumes.
Although this ancient art can be a wonderful exercise and delightful hobby, it might surprise some people how much training and experience is often involved when one dances as a profession. I began my lengthy studies in dance at the age of five in ballet, jazz, character, tap and modern dance. From ten on, I was travelling to study and perform with wellrenowned companies such as Les Ballet Jazz, the Danny Grossman Co., the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Kidco Theatre Dance Co. and more. At 15 I was the main instructor in a small sized city in which I lived, and by16 I was managing my own small dance school that incorporated about 70 students and a semi-professional junior performance troupe.
As I grew older I expanded my experience into theatrics, earning a Diploma in Theatre Arts, acting and choreographing musicals for high schools and community theatre groups. I began to study Oriental Dance in 1993. Working with an array of International artists, I learned to utilize finger cymbals (zils), veils, a cabaret cane, swords, fans, fire fingers, and a shammadan (candelabra headpiece) as dance partners. As I dance for others, I am exhilarated by the faces of awe, confusion, wonderment, excitement and sometimes fear I see in the audience’s expressions. In order to share this JOY, I continue to instruct workshops throughout Vancouver Island, and beyond, as well as teach classes specializing in Classical and “Modern” Egyptian dance.
For fellow bellydancers looking for something different, or interested in adding variety to your repertoire, I also specialize in marketing unique choreography, utilizing musical selections from my collection or working with your request. Is Dance all there is in life? Actually, “balance” is an important word in dance and this is also true in ones personal life. My awareness of the power of our feet inspired me to become a fully certified reflexologist. I also studied and earned a Bachelor Degree in Child and Youth Care, and now practice family counselling. And as my own young family grows, it is immensely rewarding to witness my girls also benefiting from a passion and love in expressing themselves through dance, as I have. Of the many lessons in life some of the most difficult seem to come from being involved in an intimate relationship.
What I have learned through my training and experiences is the value of compromise leading to contentment versus compromise leading to discontentment.
Many times in any relationship we have to make compromises in order to make things work. But must compromises in relationships lead to lasting suffering? How many people have complained about years of suffering endured in a relationship only to have it end when they have reached the end of their rope? Can we not tie a knot part way down and cut ourselves some slack? Though much was learned, did it have to take so long?
I believe that we can honour ourselves in any compromise by setting clear time limits and boundaries. If our partner has intolerable behaviour is it really our responsibility to change them? We are not able to bring about this change. In fact, we cannot even bring about their ‘desire to change’.
When the heart is involved it is hard to be objective, so ask yourself this; “what would I suggest to my best friend if they were having to deal with this same issue?” In short…
BE Your Own Best Friend.
The greatest rewards and growth in my relationships have come about when I have set clear limitations on what I would tolerate. When I have talked to myself from the perspective of a best friend the solutions come much more clearly. We cannot expect anyone else to set our boundaries. We cannot expect anyone else to know what is deep in our hearts.
Through clear communication and empathy we can understand each other’s needs and expectations. Why settle for discontentment when you can embrace the wonder and joy of learning from another through positive outcomes. Everyone deserves at least this; the joy and peace of spending time with someone who makes life better.
My work is focused on creating lasting relationships built on trust and understanding. I strive for positive interactions with the introductions that I make. My goal is to support people in learning about themselves through meeting others who share their beliefs and desires. My wish is for everyone to experience joyous and meaningful intimate relationships.

Visitors to EAGLEyeONE’s office are often delightfully fascinated by an original painting that hangs on our wall. (see Poster).
Aside from the visual, this painting truly emits an energy beyond light and colour. The Grand Council has often over the years had it on display suggesting people simply look at it and their process will be accellerated in a positive way.
I have known this painting to be a loving guiding protector over the years, aside from the fact that its rainbow of bright colours cannot help but keep one cheery. In truth though, there has always been more to this creation than most people notice.
With the Concordance quickly arriving, it seems NOW is the time to point out a bit of the sacred geometry it holds visual. There is not room in this issue to do a major piece on the topic of sacred geometry (SG). Many of you are familiar and this will prove a catalyst to the novice. Perhaps this is something we will devote space to in the Jan issue if there is interest.
Let me point out a few highlights... When you take 2 triangles in the diamond position and push the points toward the center, the 6 pointed star appears. Interestingly there are actually 3 stars sitting within a circle beaming out at you in this painting There are 3 main basic symbols used (the number 3 and power of 3 is significant in SG) singly and in combination. The circle being complete perfection, the triangle of the triad and building block of the pyramids and other ancient Temples of Light and the diamond (really 2 triangles base to base) often symbolic of a Gateway. These patterns work/play together creating other energetic systems. Have fun finding them yourself and remember, you do not have to understand how a telephone or television works in order to benefit from them-same goes here..
Note that this star within the circle is the same image you see in the astrology chart for Nov 8th 2003. This painting was created in the mid-90’s, long before the chart was discovered. I believe the energetic connection is outrageously significant!
There are 2 sizes of circles, 3 of each, the larger ones overlaping and housing the 3 balanced smaller ones within. The two become a walkway for the Infinity and the 3 small ones similar to the triple Infinity formation people ‘walked/danced’ with the Sceptre Crystals and the GCL on the 12:12 1999.
More combinations of the interwoven magic are shown above and the combination of the layers in the center column. I believe it is especially important that the eagle resides within it all. At a quick glance it is obvious that the eagle holds the center position over the two circles looking much like the two worlds we are bringing together as one. Also note the star in the Eagle’s eye. Is there any doubt that this was an inspired work of art. INDEED!
