Spring

Birds! Flowers! Sunlight! and More!

That could very well be the heading of a marvelous retreat or healing adventure with a price tags of several hundred dollars! Yet it is nothing of the sort, rather a simple comment on the season that unfolds freely before you. What an inspiration it is...look at our cover...a small bird, who returns year after year with a gift of song and love. It appears to remind us that HOPE is in the air, and Spring has surely sprung.

Perhaps you have noticed a quickening in the beat of your heart lately...perhaps Mother Earth is demanding you pay her a bit more attention - take a little walk, turn a little soil, creatively attend to matters of nature in your heart. NO DOUBT! For the world is spinning a little quicker, the vibration of love is getting a little louder, and whatever our patterns in the past, we are being challenged to love ourselves a little more and pay attention to the small details of our heart.

What does that mean? Simply to give some attention to our own journey of transformation...to pause long enough to smell the flowers. Listen to your inner voice speaking clearly - pay attention, it calls. Rise Up and BE the de-LIGHTful ONE that you are. Time to get off the back burner and give some well deserved attention to YOU.

There are lots of subtle (and not so subtle) reminders in this issue to help you on your way. Things to do and places to go - people to meet and adventures to have.

INDEED - this issue has much to do with love and more light. Love IS the foundation for ALL that you are and this is definitely the season for more light! A time to plant seeds and build a foundation for your winter harvest. Whether the harvest be food, loving actions, creative ideas or plain old fashioned good will and humour...there will be nothing to harvest if some action is not taken now.

This Island is a storehouse of Love and Gratitude - and what a fine season it is to remember your connection to the ground you walk on. There have been more sightings of eagles than is normal for this time of year. When the eagles gather, it is a sign to pay attention - allow yourself to be blessed!

Wherever you are...NOW is the only moment you truly have - use it well with loving abundance...fill yourself up, and shine from the inside out!

You may not know the huge amount of mail that comes to us from various sources, making it impossible to reprint it everything that comes our way. Yet so many people are commenting lately on the importance of recognizing and helping each other, we felt it was an appropriate time to pass on a couple of these writings. The topic resonates the fact that we are ONE energetic unit and we need to acknowledge that each of us plays an equal part. Each of us is a piece of the puzzle of life on planet earth and without our unique presence, the landscape is incomplete! So here you go - a triad, of course.

........................................................................................................1

All of us are apprenticed to the same teacher that the religious institutions originally worked with: reality. Reality- insight says…"master the twenty-four hours".

Do it well, without self-pity. It is as hard to get the children herded into the car pool and down the road to the bus as it is to chant sutras in the Buddha-hall on a cold morning.

One move is not better than the other, each can be quite boring, and they both have the virtuous quality of repetition. Repetition and ritual and their good results come in many forms. Changing the filter, wiping noses, going to meetings, picking up around the house, washing dishes, checking the dipstick – don’t let yourself think these are distracting you from your more serious pursuits.

Such a round of chores is not a set of difficulties we hope to escape from, rather that we may do our "practice" which will put us on a "path" --- it IS our path.

Gary Snyder, The Practice of the Wild

........................................................................................................2

Sometimes our light goes out.... but it is blown into flame by other human beings. Each of us owes deepest thanks... to those that have rekindled this light.

Albert Schweitzer

........................................................................................................3

Our Ego Mind... As Lightworkers our greatest opponent right now seems to be our own ego.

In particular, it’s the ego that tries to elevate itself above others. The ego that feels as practitioners in the healing arts, that we hold all the knowledge. That we "heal" our clients, our families, as if they were ever less than perfect.

Let me clarify this... in all systems of healing work, we simply act as the keepers of Sacred Space.

Holding a place for these courageous people, our clients, to do the really difficult work. To allow themselves to move through any blockages and choose to heal.

Here on this planet at this time, we are once again facing the lessons of Atlantis. We are being asked to make a different choice than we did back then.

There are no leaders, no followers here. There is no hierarchy in this Eden. It is a circle of equals. We are none elevated, none wiser, no more higher or better vibration than another.

For often those who might be considered a fool in some circles can shine a wisdom that takes our breath away...if we can have the eyes to see past outer appearances and our own judgments. These are all means to separate us. We have moved beyond that now.

We have an incredible opportunity to create the most wonderful of worlds here. Or rather to allow it to come forward.

It begins by honouring all Beings. For we may never know the Creator in disguise, standing before us in rags, who may have the greatest gift of all to gift us with. So over the next while keep a close watch on that ego mind.

The teacher must also remember she is also a student and remember the lessons of Atlantis.

All my Relations.

The Ground On Which I Stand

I am of the nature to grow old:
There is no way to escape
growing old....
I am of the nature to die:
There is no way to escape death.
All that is dear to me
and everyone I love
are of the nature to change:
There is no way to escape
being separated from them.
My actions are my only
true belongings:
I cannot escape the
consequences of my actions.
My actions
are the ground
on which I stand.

Friends

Dear Friends,
Several reports have come to me recently from well-published scholars, "authoratively indicative" of how the dark tide of negativity in the mass consciousness is nearing its flood point. In that metaphor I see each one of you as a point of light on shore, refusing to be swept away.

Then using another metaphor I see what is happening on Earth today as being analogous to the experience of Jesus at his crucifixion, with the mass consciousness of humanity being the victim. As Jesus was dying in agony he uttered the profound prayer, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do." This spirit enshrined in the hearts of millions of us offers the opportunity for the mass consciousness to be cleansed and transformed.

By each of us embracing the fullness of love in this way and letting it be the carrier wave for all of our interactions with others, life can be seen as a continuous celebration of Lighting the Earth, especially when sending out your own version of this core reminds others of their own light within.

In this way a network can quickly spread around the Earth, with the combined light of many dispelling the darkness, and transforming the mass consciousness to awareness of wholeness and purpose.

But it is well to remember that healing the whole body depends on the health of the individual cells, and each of us (as a cell) must allow our own consciousness to be transformed in order to play our appointed role in the regeneration of that of the body of Mankind.

As we each accept the opportunity for letting our light shine in all of our dealings with others, the illumination will increase to the point of dispelling the darkness from the atmosphere of negativity, letting it be revealed as an integral part of the whole, with its own useful part to play.

From my observation, I see that each cell filled with light and love in the human body allows its resurrection. Paul LeBaron may be reached at plebaron@telus.net The self portrait graphic is by the author who proclaims EVERYONE is creative and you’re never too old to discover it!

Constructive Living: The Basics

Often we are disappointed with our efforts to make changes in our lives and can even become harsh, critical and unforgiving with ourselves as we lament our lack of character, perseverance and self-discipline. Like Alice, in Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland who "sometimes scolded herself so severely as to bring tears into her eyes," we often mistakenly give up on ourselves way too soon. What do I mean by "way too soon?" If you are still breathing, it’s way too soon.

Let’s start at the beginning, and look at some of the basics. Do we eat healthy food, get enough exercise, sleep 7-8 hours a night? This is the starting point for most other change. For most of us, if we aren’t taking care of these basics it will be a whole lot more difficult to become that loving and kind person we want to be, especially with those we live with.

I know for many of us the familiar refrain, "not enough time," comes quickly to mind." If only I had more time, I would …, but, right now, it is impossible." Many of us are on that treadmill, and when we get off, we quickly put our shoulder to the grindstone. There seems to be no way out.

One of the first lessons of CL is to learn to pay attention to reality. So when we have a million things to do, we need to realistically assess our situation. There is no magic formula out there that will solve our problems. But there are some things that can help us take more charge of our daily lives and well being.

EXERCISE: We all need it. We all know what needs doing. The trick is to narrow the gap between the "idea" of exercise and the "doing" of exercise. One of the most important tips to know is that when we are most under stress and most strapped for time that is exactly when it is even more essential to get our exercise in.

Respected sports Psychologist, Jim Loehers, after decades of research, points out that when the pressure cooker is turned up, we will benefit significantly more from taking 30 minutes for exercise, even though that means 30 minutes less for sleep. The returns show up immediately in our productivity, creativity, and stress reduction, and over time in improved mental and physical health.

My simple foolproof method for regular exercise is to create a routine. Same time, same days, same place. I organize what I need the night before, and have two buddies who meet me at the gym. The latter is probably the key for most people, and it certainly is for me. When I wake up in the morning, my "lawyer" mind doesn’t have a chance to present her case-"you’re too tired; it’s too cold; you deserve to sleep in." It no longer requires self-discipline or even motivation on my part. My friend and my Mother are expecting me, and I don’t want to keep them waiting, so I turn off the alarm clock, get up and get dressed.

In CL, we say "check it out." If it has been awhile since you had a regular exercise routine, begin one today. Put this article down now, and take your body for a 30 minute walk around your neighbourhood. (if is dark you might prefer to go in the light of the next day) Establish a routine- a 30 minute walk everyday and see what happens even after two or three weeks. Notice how you feel, how you function, and what happens to your general sense of well being. While you are at it, look around. Notice spring bursting forth: flowers, buds, leaves, light, and so on. If you haven’t been taking a lunch break you could start by using that time for your walk. There is lots of evidence pointing out that your productivity will increase, but don’t believe the experts. See for yourself.

EATING: Learning to say yes to what is good for you, and no to what is not keeps it simple. I know there are dozens of diets all making promises, but the evidence points to the failure of the "diet."

In lieu of the diet consider that the food you put into your mouth matters. Not just in terms of calories, empty or nutritious, but in who you are and who you want to become. When our body is not provided with the balanced fuel it requires to function well, we pay a price, and not just with our cholesterol. But with our ability to think, to respond to daily life constructively, to hold our tongue, to be kind. A diet of junk food, fast food, and "add water and stir" will take its toll over time.

Keep it simple. If you have special medical needs follow your Doctor’s orders. Otherwise, consider this as one idea.

Eat seasonally; eat locally; and eat at home (or in the homes of others) most of the time. Experiment with one or two or three vegetarian meals weekly. Watch quantity and experiment with variety. Minimize high fats and sugars. Eat those vegetables and fruits. Avoid cans. Get some protein and grains. Revive the Sunday dinner and make dessert a treat.

Get the facts. It can be confusing with all the competing "commercial" information, but go with common sense, and educate yourself from reliable sources: such as the Mayo Clinic website www.mayoclinic.com where you can check out the "Healthy Living" section, or Tufts University Nutrition Navigator http://navigator.tufts.edu/ No site is infallible but I have found both of these sites helpful. Use your own common sense, however, and rely on your experience.

The art of living includes the art of cooking. Find simple ways to prepare healthy meals, and invite a friend. The Buddha said if we realized how fortunate we were to be able to eat, we would never eat alone. We don’t get the meals out of the way so that we can then spend time on our spiritual practice. Cooking, eating, cleaning is a spiritual practice.

SLEEPING: When you are continuously sleep deprived you may find yourself unable to concentrate, as well as short-tempered, irritable, and hard to be around. It’s serious, and you can do something about it. Before you reach for the sleeping pills consider the advice of David Reynolds, an expert on Eastern Therapies, and the research of Jim Loehrs, a Performance Psychologist. They both employ the same strategies.

• Go to bed early and wake up early. (I know, the night owls will object)
• Go to bed/sleep and wake up consistently at the same times. (night owls can use this).
• Don’t watch TV or get involved with the internet or do strenuous exercise within two hours of bedtime.
• Have a warm bath to wind down.
• Write in your journal.
• Establish a bedtime and a wakeup time and stick to it. (what works best for you)

Frederick Buechner, a writer I admire, suggests we "lay down our arms" when we go to bed at night. An unhealthy lifestyle will eventually catch up with us.

If you haven’t had a physical for awhile, book one. If your life, however, is satisfying for you, just as it is, then don’t take my advice. These few words are suggestions for those who aren’t completely satisfied, who want to make changes, and who get disappointed because they don’t follow through. Our minds and hearts and bodies are not three separate entities. We increase our chance of developing habits or practices that last when we provide our body/ mind with enough sleep, nutrition, exercise, water, and opportunities to refresh ourselves throughout the day.

It is a worthwhile practice to see what we can sensibly do to actually "feel" better and increase our energy. Children benefit from the exact same kind of routines. "See for yourself" as the old proverb goes.

Consider starting some new habits today - one simple practice in the three areas of sleeping, eating and exercising. Begin with small incremental changes. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Use the moments you have right now to begin.

Unveiling the Masks Within

The universal appeal of mask making has been around for centuries. Aside from the aesthetic value, masks have been a functional role of one of mankind’s earliest forms of cultural expression. From prehistoric times right up to our present day, masks have been used for purposes of religion, symbolism, art and entertainment. The many faces of masks have evoked feelings of terror, courage, reverence, awe and inspiration to those who have viewed and wore them.

The word "mask" in the dictionary says a covering worn over the face as a disguise or protection. The word "veil" is a piece of fabric concealing or protecting the face. Masks are usually worn over or in front of the face to hide the identity of the person or assumed the essence of another being. This characteristic of hiding and revealing personalities is common to all masks. While researching masks and their history it became clear to me that since the beginning of time, we have continuously used masks to hide and conceal certain aspects of ourselves. Why do we hide who we really are?

We, as a human race are fascinating. We come here to experience life, to savor and revel in all that life has to offer – the intense feelings of love and joy as well as the pain of loss and separation. We come here to planet earth to clear away the veils surrounding our perceptions of our reality and ourselves and in turn create masks for ourselves to remain hidden.

What are we hiding and why? Why do we always look outside of ourselves and look to others for our answers?

The masks we have chosen to wear both visible and invisible may have protected us from feelings of inadequacy and isolation but at what cost? Somewhere along the line we were taught that we weren’t enough and had to go in search of something outside ourselves in order to be happy. I shudder to think of the many times in my life when I wanted to be someone else. I would try to emulate the way they walked and talked, watched the way they interacted with others and tried to adopt their unique characteristics as my own. Only years later, with my life in complete turmoil did I seek to change from within. I knew I was the only one who could fix me. I could no longer seek to live vicariously through someone else because that wasn’t my life, it was theirs. I realized that by not being me I had no chance for happiness because I was living a lie. I was denying who I was.

Each and every one of us needs each other to learn and grow. We can learn so much about ourselves and the world around us when we share our life experiences with another. A wonderful gift we can give each other is our own one-of-a-kind uniqueness. I believe our greatest form of learning is when we are completely ourselves and sharing heart to heart with another. It is when we are at our most vulnerable that we expose our truest expression of who we are. It is in those rare moments when we let down our veils enough to allow another person in that true healing begins.

Some of our best teachers and lessons in life have been those who have hurt us. However, if we can look back at some of our unpleasant experiences and see how they shaped our lives for the better, then we must also thank those who hurt us, because without them and the experiences we would not be the person we are today.

I wonder where we might be today if we had only realized centuries ago that by not being who we were was the greatest injustice we could have ever done to ourselves. Let’s pretend for a moment that life is one huge jigsaw puzzle. Our individual personalities and patterns are unique and vital for the entire puzzle to be put together. Slightly readjust one piece and the entire puzzle is ill fitting. In order for the perfect fit we need to be 100% of who we are. Our piece is just as important and necessary because the other pieces cannot fit if we are not being ourselves. Now, imagine taking on someone else’s traits and personalities and notice now that our once perfect fit now has extensions and protrusions on it throwing the whole puzzle off balance. We need to remember that our own unique signature is critical and important. In order to really participate in life, we must be who we are and not what we or someone else thinks we should be. We need to realize that just by being who we are is all we need to be.

So, just for today I am choosing to reveal a piece of myself in mask making. The mask I choose to wear today is not one of concealment but of Beaming from the Inside Out.

The power of the mask can assist us as a healing tool and become a teacher for understanding our piece of the puzzle. As the seasons change - so do we..a new face awakens to a new dawn...ready willing and able to guide us in new directions. The Mask - One powerful reflection of who we choose to be.

Good Heart Full Life: The Wisdom of the Dalai Lama

At the end of the talk someone from the audience asked the Dalai Lama, "Why didn’t you fight back against the Chinese?" The Dalai Lama looked down, swung his feet just a bit, then looked back up at us and said with a gentle smile, "Well, war is obsolete, you know."

Then, after a few moments, his face grave, he said, "Of course the mind can rationalize fighting back... but the heart, the heart would never understand. Then you would be divided in yourself, the heart and the mind, and the war would be inside you."

Well it didn’t take word long for word to spread about His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Visit to Vancouver April 18-20, 2004. Many of you were very disappointed to discover that tickets were gone in a blink of an eye. In fact when they moved the event to a larger place and sold tickets again... SAME Thing. Still, it seems to me that even if you can’t go to the event it is a time to join in and celebrate anyway.

We believe just by joining your heart in peace for ALL (especially those who seem to cause you trouble) while his Holiness is physically present in this area will be an energetic message to the world in itself. You KNOW that is what he will be doing! Even if you can’t go, here are some suggested readings from www.dalailamavancouver.org - the official site of the Vancouver visit you might find useful.

Love the Job You're In!

"People rarely succeed at anything unless they are having fun doing it" - La Rochefoucauld

Statistics tell us that 80% of people are not happy in their work. Sometimes that is because their work is out of integrity for them and it is soul destroying or may simply be because it is not rewarding or challenging enough and they see it as just putting in time until the perfect job comes along. If you fall into the group of people whose work is out of integrity for them run, don’t walk, to your nearest career counselor and find a way to make a living that is congruent with your beliefs. If you have a job that seems a dead-end but really isn’t bad, it may be possible for you use the job as a springboard to something more rewarding or to improve the job (or your approach to it) so that it becomes the perfect job.

With a little creativity and effort on your part, you may find where you are is just where you should be at this point in time. Here are some tips to start you off:

Set a target
Consider where you want to be in the next five years and how you are going to get there. Getting to the target may mean taking classes, finding a mentor, or enhancing your interpersonal skills. Any of these steps may improve both your confidence level and others’ confidence in you.

Create Relationships
Those who are happiest in their jobs tend to enjoy the people they work with. Forming positive personal relationships with several people whom you trust and admire may provide you with a built-in support system when times are tough and increase the amount of enthusiasm you feel for your work on a daily basis.

Manage stress
As Stephen Covey says in his book "First Things First" you need to take time to "sharpen the saw". He tells the story of a woodsman who had so much wood to cut that he kept sawing in spite of the fact that his saw was becoming very dull. When asked why, he said he was in too much of a hurry to sharpen it. The moral of that story is obvious but we often neglect the principle in our own lives. It is critical that if we are to love the work we do, we need to find the time to care for ourselves.

Take a chance
Growth entails engaging in prudent risk-taking. Often when faced with tasks that are outside our comfort zones we shy away. Sometimes the opportunity to speak to a group of people or take on a project that is new to us is the catalyst we need to move to the next stage in our career. Immense satisfaction can be gained from overcoming personal challenges and breaking new ground.

"Brand" yourself
Become known for something that is uniquely your own. Barbara Glanz ( a motivational speaker and writer) tells the story of a presentation that she made to a large grocery store on building customer loyalty. She stressed the importance of adding a personal signature to your work. About three weeks after she spoke one of the staff, a grocery bagger and also a person with Down’s syndrome, called Barbara. He told her that after listening to her speak he had gone home and had his dad help him set up a table on the computer where he entered thoughts for the day that he found in books, on the internet or thought up. He then made multiple copies, cut them up and signed the back of each. He put one slip in each customer’s grocery bag the following day.

The manager came out one day to find a huge line-up at the grocery bagger’s till. He called for more cashiers but the customers said that they wanted to be in the line to get the ‘thought for the day’. The manager said one woman even told him that she usually only shopped one day a week and now came in whenever she was passing by to get her thought for the day.

Imagine how something so simple affects the loyalty of the customers and the bottom line of the business, and also the enhanced self-esteem of the bagger.

The rewards for you for loving your job are that you will be more content, more exhilarated and more inclined to move and grow as new opportunities present themselves to you.

Organic Gardening: A Residential Solution

With spring in the works, this is a perfect time to plan a new garden. When designing a new space, this is the time to plan for the future health of your garden.

Here are some elements to consider.
• Choose the right plant for the right place.
• Size does count.
• All good things above ground first start below ground.

Each plant has unique growing requirements that match the location in the world to which they are native. In order for plants to thrive we need to provide them with as much of these requirements as possible. In the wild when conditions around the plant change and the environment around them is no longer suitable, the plant sends out energetic messages of distress. This attracts insects, bacteria, and fungi who are welcomed by these plants to help them return to the soil. Without these so-called pests, plants would have to wait until they rotted and fell down before they could contribute back into the soil. In our residential garden this works in the same way. Healthy plants have strong defenses and the tools to ward off intruders. When a plant attracts these ‘pests’ it is telling us that something else is wrong and further discovery to the root of the problem is necessary. Sometimes it could just mean we have the right plant in the wrong place.

Size counts even more in a small residential garden as space is a premium. When we prune plants we are wounding them and they do not heal as we do. Plants grow extra tissue around the wound and form a callous to protect themselves from the outside elements. These elements can get into their system and damage delicate tissues causing infection and disease. Some of these elements include the sun, the wind, insects, bacteria carried in the rain, and fungi spores carried in the wind. Every time we cut a plant we are affecting their energy system and the balance this plant has created for itself above and below the ground.

With every cut above the ground, roots below the ground die to compensate. We should design our gardens with the mature height of the plant in mind in order to avoid regular pruning to keep this plant inside the garden. With so many possibilities in the nursery market for us to choose from, there will most likely be another plant the size we want that also matches the other growing conditions available in our garden. Of course, as this is not always possible, these are guidelines to help us minimize disease in our plants.

Healthy plants are grown from healthy soil. In organic growing the soil is a main focus as it is known that all good things above ground first start below ground. All life below ground is dependant on each other and works as a community transforming and combining to function as a whole unit. There are many things we can do to support the intricate community of our soil. Compost, broken down organic matter, is the greatest gift we can give our soil as we are returning elements that are captured in the plant tissues when growing, back into the garden. Organisms in the soil eat the organic matter transforming the nutrients into edible elements for our plants. Placing compost on top of our soil protects the soil and acts as mulch, another extremely important thing we can do to help our soil. Mulch is any organic matter (compost, leaves, bark mulch, saw dust) that is placed on top of the soil for protection, creating homes for predators also adding to the nutrients in the soil.

With these elements considered, we are off to a great start in our new garden. With the rains starting to cease, the soil temperatures warming up, and the plants starting to grow, this is the perfect time to begin. Enjoy the garden as spring brings new treasures.

Assemblage Point

Our physical body is surrounded by an amazing energy field, which looks like a sphere of multi-coloured layers of light energy. This sphere is comprised of vibrating energy fields of electromagnetic energy, which interconnect with the physical body.

The energy field is densest where it connects with the physical body and becomes lighter as it extends outward. This energetic sphere reaches a personal boundary 3-5 feet in diameter providing us with an energetic network that allows us to receive information from our environment. Contained within the energy field is a system of vortexes and/or chakras which process energy.

The Assemblage Point (AP) is a tube-like bundle of light energy contained within our energy field, which flows through the front and back of the energy vortex known as the heart chakra. Situated within this heart centre, the AP is known to be the "Seat of our Consciousness." When the AP is strong and balanced, a person may experience living in the ‘natural flow of life’. Being in this ‘natural flow’ may bring stability of career, relationships, health and lifestyle.

At some point, most people experience an accident, trauma, disease, drug addiction, grief, pain, heartbreak and various degrees of depression. These life situations can create an imbalance in the AP. It can be "knocked out of alignment", drift or be jarred off centre from its natural placement in the heart space (such as in a car accident/injury).

This displacement can determine how we perceive our reality and express our life in either a positive or negative fashion. The symptoms not only affect well-being and vitality, but also our ability to move forward with ease and grace in day to day life, including our relationships with others. One may feel "stuck", "not feeling like who we were before the event", or "unbalanced or unhappy" whether it is on a spiritual, emotional, mental or physical level.

An AP adjustment at these times often creates
• New heightened awareness / increased confidence • ability to cope with stress • connected to life and "In the flow" • improved decision-making / clearer thinking /more centered, calmer and relaxed • increased creativity/prosperity • elimination of behavioural problems/substance abuse/pain on multiple levels • Improved complexion and muscle tone • Deeper spiritual/soul work.

In short, the experience of the AP in balance can be related to the "blissful moments in life".

Untiring Love

This is a true story about an event that was literally uncovered in Japan.

In order to renovate a house, someone in Japan tore open a wall. Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.

When tearing down the wall, he found a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside was hammered into one of its feet. He saw this and felt pity. At the same time he was curious. When he checked the nail, turns out, it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was first built.

What happened? The lizard had survived in such a position for 10 years! In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and mind boggling. Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10 years without moving a single step—since its foot was nailed!

So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it had been doing, and what and how it has been eating. Later, not knowing from where it came, appeared another lizard, with food in its mouth.

Ahh! He was stunned and at the same time, touched deeply. Another lizard had been feeding the stuck one for the past 10 years...

Such love, such a beautiful love! Such love happened with this tiny creature.

What can love do? It can do wonders!

Love Indeed, Can Do Miracles!

Star Children

The following is a Haiku poem written by Anita Warrington - the astounding thing about it (for those of you who have tried your hand at Haiku and understand it is MUCH harder than it looks) is Anita is just barely 13 years old! Hummm, more proof that the young people today deserve our respect and attention for they have much good to share with us.

Moonlight

Clear light shining forth
From inside ever outwards
The sphere of pure love

Feng Shui Garden Harmony: 3 Easy Steps

Your Garden. It is impossible for ambience to be absent. Your home and your garden exude a "feeling", and you are the creator of that "feeling" - whether you are aware of it or not.

Qi is the source of the ambience you sense, it is invisible energy that can be felt intuitively, and sometimes physically. It is the life force energy that exists around us at all times, for better or for worse. Excess qi can bring difficulty, anxiety and stress, while not enough, or stagnant qi can cause destitution, lack of ambition and apathy, but just the right balance - brings prosperity, harmony, and health. This is where yin and yang become important. Yang is bright, active and loud, and when it is not in balance with yin, which is dark, still and quiet there will be an imbalance in the flow of qi.

The flow of energy can be a difficult concept to grasp, but qi is a powerful part of the unseen world and is well worth the time spent to understand its qualities. You may have entered a home or building and felt a sense of peace and calm - or on the other hand - panic and upset. This is the building’s qi. Qi flow is why some places "feel" good, while others don’t, why some houses sell quickly and others reduce the listed price but still don’t move. This type of energy demands respect and awareness.

Everything that you have put in your garden, on your patio or balcony contributes to the flow of qi. When qi flows freely, smoothly and uninhibited then you have created a space for abundance and well-being. Good Feng Shui, the management of qi, will support and nurture your Soul, it will assist you in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual areas of your life. Some call Feng Shui "engineered luck" because it is up to you to become conscious of the flow of energy in your space and to balance and control those energies to your maximum benefit, for the highest good of all.

The nature of the exterior qi directly affects the interior energy, entering your home through windows and doors. Gardens are an extension of your living space, the goal is to create a setting for beneficial qi to enter the home.

Think about neighbourhoods you have passed through and imagine how the homes support or let down those who live there. The exterior of a home reflect the occupants. What about your own street? Your own house? When you walk into your front yard, do you feel calm, safe and welcome? From inside your home do you love what you see through your windows and doors? Does your apartment balcony call to you, stimulate your thoughts or calm you mind?

If not, your outdoor space needs some Feng Shui attention. Feng Shui is the art of placement - working with shapes and elements to harmonize, synthesize and support you in every way possible.

If you could improve the quality of your life, by becoming conscious of the energy flow you create, would you do it? Here’s how:

Step 1:
Evaluate the purpose of your garden? Is it for entertaining, relaxing, growing vegetables, a flower garden or a playground for your children? This will help you designate the yin and yang areas of your garden space. Apartment balconies deserve the same evaluation. Do you entertain and BBQ or sit quietly and watch the clouds drift by?

Step 2:
Determine the bones of your garden? Sheds, greenhouses, pathways, pergolas, playgrounds, patios, decks, large trees and shrubs. What will hinder your planning and what will help you? Structures should be built in proportion to the home and garden and should incorporate into the landscape. Bridges help carry qi to different parts of the garden, and not always over water, blue flowers or pebbles can be arranged below the bridge deck. Arched bridges are a Feng Shui favourite as they gently lift the qi across the span.

Step 3:
Balance yin (dark, soft, still, curved) and yang (bright, hard, active, straight) using Feng Shui cures. Look for imbalances such as wide driveways bordered by flat lawns (too yang - add gently curving borders or potted plants relative to the space) or areas of your garden where you walk from dark shade into blinding sunlight (add transition shrubs for dappled sunlight). Moss will usually direct you to your excess yin.

Light. (adds yang) Cut back plants and shrubs, add garden lights, torches, reflective surfaces (water, gazing balls, mirrors)

Sound. (breaks up stagnant qi) Wind chimes (metal, glass, bamboo), stream, fountain, bird feeder (attract song birds).

Colour. Too yin? Add reds, yellows, orange and other vibrant coloured plants, pots, painted furniture, ornaments. Too yang? Add blues, violets, greens, silver.

Movement. (adds yang) Plants that move easily in the breeze, whirligigs, windchimes, bird feeders, mobiles, water in motion.

Stillness. (adds yin) Large heavy objects or sculpture. Solid weight. Still water. Statuary.

Straight lines. (adds yang) Direct energy to and from areas in your yard. Not recommended for front pathways connecting the front door to the road.

Curves. (adds yin) Cause energy to slow down and move slowly. Curves patios, walkways and lawn edging encourage meandering energy.

Shape (Hard vs Soft) "Hardscaping" Cement, metal, stone, statuary, break up the non-linear garden. A mass of flowers become a beautiful frame for a featured sculpture or ornate birdbath. Natural or man-made stones ground and centre the space, and will give weight to an otherwise ungrounded area.

Spring is the time when yin gives way to yang, it represents the element of new growth and expansion, the excitement of beginning anew. It’s time to make plans, take steps towards projects and develop budding ideas. Allow the fresh dew of Spring to awake you — encouraging your soul to bloom!

Follow your Tao!

Tlaook and Saa-sit-qua-iis: The Canoe

In Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, there is a new sight from the shoreline. For the last two years, visitors have been able to participate in paddling traditional dugout canoes, carved into beautiful boats from single, very large cedar logs. Tlaook Cultural Adventures owns these artful vessels.

The guides on these trips are Gisele Martin, the owner of the business, and her uncle, Dwayne Martin. The canoes are a family affair, as Gisele’s Father Joe is often nearby on the sandy beach carving another canoe. Their culture and canoes are truly facinating.

Cultures all over the world carve wooden canoes. Of these, the Nuu-chah-nulth canoe is considered by many to be one of the finest and most seaworthy. The often-challenging waters of the West Coast of Vancouver Island have inspired and required a canoe design that is capable of handling waves with grace and travelling substantial distances for these people who lived from the sea. The high wolf-head prow and raised stern block create a unique silhouette that is becoming familiar again in BC waters.

One canoe is named Sa-sit-qua-iis, which means "hummingbird" in the local First nations Language – Nuu-chah-nulth. The canoe is 34 feet long, though it doesn’t look it, and it can hold up to 11 passengers.

Sa-sit-qua-iis is named after a very similar canoe that was owned by one of Gisele’s great grandfathers from several generations past. During its day it was the leader of the whaling fleet of her family. Many different sizes of canoes were used in those days. Small canoes were used by one or two people to go to food gathering areas, such as berry patches or camas bulb gardens. Larger ones were used to go whale hunting thirty miles offshore, or to carry war parties. The largest canoes were used to move entire households from summer village sites to winter village sites and vice versa.

There are no plans to do any whaling with Saa-sit-qua-iis, though it feels that the canoe is worthy of the hereditary name belying its speed and manuverability. For a boat of its size, it seems remarkably easy to move through the water. I imagine it full of men who have trained and fasted for weeks to bring their focus onto the task their canoe was built for. Actually, when Gisele efforts a stroke with her big steering paddle I can feel the boat jump forward, and I wonder if she has some secret technique learned from her elders.

As we head to Meares Island we stop in a few places along the way. One of our stops is an eagle nest, with two bald eagles and one young one perched very nearby. Another stop is the Native village of Opitsaht, where Gisele tells about the teachings that are represented in the totem poles seen on the shore. When we reach our destination on Meares Island, Gisele gives us directions so we bring the canoe in stern first. She tells us that this is the way to land in peace, and it makes departing quicker and easier. In the past, when canoes were landed bow first it meant a battle was soon to follow.

Dwayne anchors the canoe and Gisele takes us to see the biggest trees I have ever seen. We also sample a few of the local delicacies, traditional foods of her people in the past. After walking to the Hanging Garden Tree, we have lunch, and then begin the journey back to Tofino. Getting in the boat again, I start to feel like an old pro; I know how to sit and what to expect when we start to move. As we head around the point of an island into the late afternoon sun, our two guides sing us a few songs in their Native language, and a harbour seal pokes his head out of the water, seeming to listen. I don’t understand the words of the songs, but it seems to me that boat goes a little faster and easier in the water as they are sung. This is truly the way to travel on the waters of the west coast.

Crystal Pup

A long time ago I was a pup looking for a safe place to live..lucky for me I found one. A very loving guardian took me in, who has treasured me and treated me like true royalty. We were both lucky...or was it that we listened to an inner voice within and our lives took care of themselves?

I’ve met lots of fellow 4-legged over my lifetime (I AM getting old you know) and lots of sand and sidewalk have seen trails that my paws left behind. What is interesting to me now, after all these years, is the new communication system that is evolving out of the patterns of this new year. Simple things are falling into place like listening with intention, believing we are worthy of love beyond measure, knowing we are sources to inspire this in others with every wag of our tails! Well perhaps a wave of the hand in your case.

We all know this is the way life was supposed to be, but did you know that animals like humans sometimes suffer from the same concepts of "Almost good enough" but.... That BUT word surely does make a dog forget where he buries his bones alright! It is actually quite amazing how fragile an animals ego can be.

I say this because although some of you won’t believe it, it is very important what you say in front of your pet. YES even your lizard.. in light of the story on page 16. Pets Understand! They are sensitive and take your words to heart!

So I’ve found a little poem someone sent me, and I want to share it with you. It might seem simple at first, but it is about our imperfections, about following our hearts, appreciating each other and the powerful love of friendship that stands the test of time and that can never be broken.

This Old Cat
I’m getting on in years,
My coat is turning grey.
My eyes have lost their luster,
My hearing’s just okay.
I spend my whole day dreaming
Of conquests in my past.
Laying near a sunny window,
Waiting for the warm repast.
I remember our first visit,
I was coming to you free
Hoping you would take me in
And keep me company.
I wasn’t young or handsome,
Two years I’d roamed the street.
There were scars upon my face,
I hobbled on my feet.
I could sense your disappointment
As I left my prison cage
Oh, I hoped you would accept me
And look beyond my age.
You took me out of pity,
I accepted without shame.
Then you grew to love me
And I admit the same.
I have shared with you your laughter,
You have wet my fur with tears
We’ve come to know each other
Throughout these many years.
Just one more hug this morning
Before you drive away
And know I’ll think about you
Throughout your busy day.
The time we’ve left together
Is a treasured time at that
My heart is yours forever
I promise... This Old Cat.

The Longing for Love is a Spiritual Call

From The Messages from God through Yaël and Doug Powell at Circle of Light

The longing for Love that is within you is not a weakness. It is not a lack of parental Love, or a void that was created that you are trying to fill. Your longing for Love is placed in your heart by Me. It is your divine call. It is your homing device. It is the spiritual desire for your true home, for your right and real relationship with Me, your Father/Mother/God and with your true Love.

It is a sadness to Me that this yearning I have placed within you is currently seen in this culture as a weakness. You are told that it makes you co-dependent, at worst, and less independent at best. So you turn away from your divine message, and you choose instead the messages of the ego as it seeks to create division. This distances you from what makes you whole.

Yet all the while people embrace these beliefs, the longing in the heart continues. It may be pushed away. But it is still there. This creates a war within, an internal battle that saps people of their strength, their vision, and most importantly, robs them of their spirituality.

In place of Love, people use drugs and alcohol — eating disorders, emotional abuse, emotional roller coasters, addictions to every manner of thing. All of these things are designed by the ego to distract you from your desire for Love, or from your trying to reclaim that which you have sent away.

Alcohol can make you feel warm and supported. Drugs can give you back a contact with your spirit. But these things are yours naturally through Love. Love opens your heart and restores your soul. Love makes everything right in your world, not because it is a fantasy, but because it brings you back in touch with Me. It places you in right relationship to your world with Love first.

When you fall in Love you can see these connections. You are able to feel the life in everything. You find compassion for others because your heart is open. Love is not a fantasy. Love is what is real. Everything else is the fantasy, and not only is it a fantasy, it is a lie. It is a lie of the ego that leads you to believe you can live better without Love. The result is the world you see. The denial of Love in all its forms is what creates sickness and pain, despair and abuse. The more Love is denied, the "sicker" the society.

You must reclaim Love now. Do everything in your power to contradict the lies. Do everything you can to acclaim the truth of Love, not only in a broad sense as some nebulous belief, but in a personal sense in each individual’s world. Love is the only real food. Everything is fed by it. When Love is present and all things are growing, that growth is reflected on every level.

It is in relationship that your choice is made. Every moment is creation and the light is pouring in, touching you. This light manifests your belief in that moment, and the choices of your moments — what they manifest when they are added together.

This is why you must have Love in front of you, personified. The manifestation of the question of each moment – what do you choose to create now? Please make Love your answer! Please place Love above all the things that you can allow to take you away from Love.

Proclaim the reality of personal Love, of true Love, of SoulMates. Proclaim the reality of Love that will "fill the holes," supply the needs and bring you to your center. One moment of real Love can change everything. Two moments can heal everything. Three moments and suddenly it is all revealed! Love is worth everything.

If you understand Love, if you can open up and allow it to touch you, you will know that a moment in true Love gives yourself back to you. It reconnects you, gives you the experience of your heart, shows you your center, changes you, grows you, and even offers you the transformation of your being into an awakened human being.

People who are not in a relationship close themselves down out of fear of being hurt, or fear of not finding the "right one." People who are in relationships find thousands of ways to turn away, to keep distance between them, to be critical or irritated or whatever it takes. This is all ego, fighting to keep itself alive. Ego wants to keep you believing that fear is more powerful and that Love can hurt you. Once you understand the truth, the big picture, you will understand just how absurd this is. Love is your highest truth, the essence of your being, your connection with Me.

Thus, I ask this of you. Take the leap to Love. Daily. Moment to moment. In doing this, I promise you that you are changing the world. Those who "love the whole world" will not change anything, nor will they be changed. No, Love is personal, right in front of you. Only thus will you change your experience of everything.

The relationship of true Love between two people is the most freeing relationship ever created. Believe in it, in Love, in your soul, in your mate, and you will be reclaiming your divinity.

Are you willing to allow your true Love in?
Are you willing to allow your dreams to come true?
Are you ready to live in a world rich in meaning, deep in profundity, glorious in its connection to every aspect of Reality?

Yes?

Then let us go together to the mirror of your SoulMate. There you will see Me in new ways.

Yaël Powell has had a thirty year communion with God during her meditations. Diagnosed many years ago with a painful progressive disease of the spine, Yaël stands in the tradition of mystics such as Hildegard von Bingen who found God’s loving voice through experiences of great suffering transformed into Love. In her darkest moments, God began to speak to Yaël during her daily prayers, and she faithfully recorded the Messages into some seventy notebooks. Yaël and her husband, Doug, have published the Messages into a series called the Say "Yes" to Love books published by their center, Circle of Light in Eureka Springs, AR. They can be contacted at connect@circleoflight.net. www.circleoflight.net

Reviews

One of my favourite things about Spring aside from the return of the songbirds, is the fact that each day brings more light. What a gift that is and what a sweet opportunity it affords us to pop a book in a backpack and go read outdoors! Whether you choose to be in or out, a good book is a fine companion in any season. Depending on your preference, sometimes a good story just before you fall into the dreamtime is such a treat.

So let’s start this issue off with one of our favorite authors Swami Sivananda Radha. Realities of the Dreaming Mind 2004 Timeless Books. "Realities of the Dreaming Mind" by Swami Sivananda Radha, celebrates its 10th anniversary with this elegant new edition. If you want to unlock the messages of your dreams, this book is indispensable. Through her method of Dream Yoga, Swami Radha guides you step by step into your inner world of symbol and metaphor. Learn to investigate your own dream symbols and to uncover the secrets of your dreams. Whether you have been exploring your dreams for years, or are just beginning to be curious about your dreaming mind, "Realities" is a complete guide to dream analysis and interpretation. www.timeless.org ISBN 193201800X

The Hundredth Woman is Kate Green’s first novel. This is definitely a soul searching, passionate story of 3 woman and how their lives are mysteriously intertwined. Imagine a Cherokee activist, a multimillionaire hermit and a counsellor. The story explores so many aspects of living on Planet earth now, and the complex relationships we have with others. The book is full of subtly insights...and a few ‘not so subtle’ for those of you who like the direct approach. A book you’ll likely want to stay up late to finish. ISBN 0-595-27958-9

Another book about relationships and karmic ties that flies us right into the subject matter of twin flames. Dr. Anneliese Widman, Ph.D wrote When Spirit Takes Over as a tool to discuss this most fascinating subject and how the heroine faces the challenge of dealing with such a person in real life. She has been called painfully honest - yet for some that is precisely what will assist them on their own journey. The fictional character is in fact a reflection of the authors long time study of insights into the lives and development of real people. No doubt this is why some feel like situations in this book really hits home. ISBN 1-57197-351-6

Now let’s say the two stories just mentioned, or stories in your own life have you on the brink of a determined search for true love and a simple lifestyle. Then the next book could be of great value to you. It is called Affirmations, Your Passport to Happiness. Indeed! Full to the brim, with simple exercises, little stories and the obvious affirmations, Anne Marie Evers works her magic. The topics range from generating money, attracting a partner, creating health or plain and simply transforming negative habits. Anne is currently living in Vancouver and has many other volumes, affirmation cards etc to her credit. www.affirmations-media.com ISBN 096802923-X

Often when we are in "affirming mode" we reflect to ourselves... If I’d Known Then What I Know Now and that very appropriately is the title of this next book by J.R. Parish. Subtitled "Why not learn from the mistakes of others"? You can’t afford to make them all yourself! This is a power packed little book written by a man who went from milkman to millionaire, without having all the breaks. What he did have was the right attitude and a burning desire and commitment to "follow through". He also attributes his success to following good advice, and now he’s sharing his advice with you. Proven secrets of success in financing, career, marriage and getting along with others, to name a few. To give you an idea of the "flavour" the book concludes thus... "No matter what the task, grab the bull by the horns and act. May your dreams come true, and may we learn to love and help one another and live in peace. Wishing you all the best. J.R. Parrish" ISBN 1-879384-49-3

Those words are music to our ears, and that is exactly what these CD’s are about. Mikeoula had been performing in Mt. Shasta and heard Vancouver Island’s call just in time to arrive for the fall of 2003. These CDs were created from the heart of the 7 day Harmonic Concordance event in Nanaimo. Mikeoula has released 2 CD’s (more to come) of vibrations that are truly heavenly. Inspired by Archangel Michael, Quin Yin, Mother Mary, the Crystalline Dragons and the higher realms of light, sound and colour, this music is inspirational. The Grande Processional (one continuous piece of music) and Love Beyond Measure. I confess I put them in my player hit repeat and let them set a tone here on power days - or at press time for that matter. Powerful, gentle, transformational, positive, inspiring, happy and full of light...there are no words really. The music is experential, with the power to heal and accelerate your spiral pathway. She is offering a series of mini-healing concerts in Nanaimo, see pages 31 and 36.

Inspirational music is the order of the moment and the Awakening Cd by Robert Gass is a highly regarded composer and recording artist. Along with the "Wings of Song Choir", this is an innovative example of sacred music. The CD is actually made up of 8 extended chants from Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim traditions. If you love to chant - to sing along - you will love this one. Often supported with the voices of a full choir singing in layers - it is powerful and sweetly moving. The Lords Prayer is sung in the original Aramaic language and you’ll love the translation of the beginning.. "Oh Breathing Life, your Name shines everywhere!" This is a release intended to inspire, rich with musical colour, if this is your style of music, you’ll find yourself pushing ‘replay’! ISBN 1-891319-76-0

Messages for the inner soul abound, and Chakra Journey by Thunder Beat is specifically designed with healing in mind. Obvious from the title, it is a journey to activate, clear and balance your chakras through sound vibration. Other side effects proclaimed include relieving stress, emotional blockages, pain and fears...plus an improvement of mental clarity, creativity and peace of mind. There is a colourful poster that is also available that shows the locations. Thunder Beat has been studying sound healing/frequency healing since 1995 and this CD is timed for an hour so it may be used to accompany healing sessions. ISBN 9991405763

Simply put, my own musical tastes are definitely varied. And sometimes there’s nothing quite like the flavour of a room full of horns. Like something with a bit of diversity? Chris Daniels and The Kings are known as one of the best rock-and-roll horn bands. Known for their versatility ranging from rock to jazz to blues to swing this won’t disappoint you. THE SPARK, has lots of acoustic guitar and electric slide guitar (heck you can even hear a fiddle sneaking in here and there, building the base for moments of alt-country, bluegrass, south-of-the-border brass, a little swing and more. Daniels wrote nine of the dozen tunes with a distinctive western backdrop. ISBN 69517 76262

Happy days and peaceful nights, and until we meet again, welcome the sun and bless the sounds of the world around you. G/*

Auras - Guided by the Rainbow

Auras are the colours vibrating around the body.

Every colour has a measurable wavelength. Auras can be seen by clairvoyants and captured by a variety of aura photography techniques. People experienced in working with this energy are now able to watch their auras shift and change on a colour monitor following their mental direction. The photograph itself can only freeze a moment in time. The colours and qualities of the aura can tell anyone experienced in reading them a great deal.

My first colour course offered me an interesting starting point for this study. The instructor said that each person’s aura was blue, red or yellow. He led us through a variety of exercises to determine our colours. I saw green. He assured me that I was wrong. My aura could only be a primary colour. I knew that I wasn’t red and I felt a little more yellow than blue that day so I was given a "yellow" personality profile. It fit in a generic way, but without the mediating affect of other colours it was extremely one sided. I gathered that "yellows" were not very popular with the teacher and I tended to agree with him. I knew very little about auras then, but by the end of the class I was certain that there were more than three colours involved.

In the years since, I have found auras with variations of all the colours of the rainbow, neons, iridescence and metallics. Usually someone has two or three major colours that signify interests, gifts and talents. A person is often born with these colours although they may vary at times. An example of this would be a green aura that may change to spring green at the beginning of a new facet of life and returns to an emerald colour once it has been mastered. These colours can give useful information on a person’s interests and natural preferences and provide direction on vocational choices and life path. Blocks such as negative beliefs or fears show up and can be eliminated. Karmic challenges and genetic beliefs may also be present.

Following are some simplified observations on colour and personal qualities:

Red – Sociable, lively, energetic, works well with groups
Orange – Athletic, active
Yellow – Intelligent, academic
Yellow with Green – Healing, creative pursuits
Yellow with Blue – Teaching, counselling
Green – Creative, healing, loves outdoors
Pink – Works from the heart, compassionate – often has difficulty setting personal boundaries
Blue – good organizer, precise
Dark Blue – Enquiring mind, likes sciences and metaphysics – can be seen as distant or cool
Dark Blue with Pink – Often drawn to healing modality with anatomy – massage therapist, physiotherapist
Turquoise – Teacher, speaker, storyteller, singer
Violet – Religious / spiritual interest, compassion for the world, healing
White - All colours combined, a master

I believe that all who work with auras begin to develop a vocabulary of symbols and their meanings. For instance, certain colours and shapes may identify someone using gifts from an Atlantean life or bringing in higher planetary teachings. Auras suffused with gold dust may indicate Lemuria. Small white stars sprinkled in the field can show a person that works with star information. A flame pattern often appears when someone has a lot of energy to start projects, but can’t ground and gets blown off course before finishing them. A closely wrapped aura is seen when someone is doing inner exploration. When new goals are set the aura expands and the person is moving forward again. Accidents and injuries can leave an aura off centered or torn. It is interesting to note that current injuries can be located at the same sites as past life injuries. Healing needs to include elimination of the underlying reasons for the injury.

Restore your radiance with this
Aura Cleansing Visualization

Sit in a comfortable position with your head erect. Take a few deep breaths and relax. Create a waterfall of pure water or crystal light to cascade over you. Invite this to wash away all the stress of the day. Continue to breath releasing any negative emotions that you may feel with every outbreath. Let go of any connections you may have to events of the day. Allow them to wash away and forgive yourself or others if needed. Ask the waterfall to cleanse and clear your aura of all debris. When you feel complete make sure that you are grounded by sending light into the earth from your base chakra. Then recall your aura to about six inches from your body and seal it with an indigo eggshell for protection.

Terry Winters combines a unique blend of healing techniques with her ability to read auras and chakras. Appointments available in Nanaimo/Victoria and by phone at a distance. Call regarding upcoming workshops. 250-754-4069

LightOnLight: Shine From the Inside Out

And the temple lights ROSE UP around you - and the visions from your past sang strong within you and you remembered once again - there was a pattern and there was a plan.

You remembered without question you came to planet earth with purpose. You remembered your promise to the ALL — the whole of consciousness, that once you remembered you would never give up. ALLways you would be a voice for truth, universal justice, for the integrity of all.

Thus YOU spoke to The ONE within yourself, before you journeyed to this human place. "NO ONE will be left behind, you promised - as long as I AM, NOT ONE will be left behind. For I come from a place beyond the all, beyond the limitations of human thinking...beyond the need to be superior. I come to honour our ability to BE who we are within the most difficult of conditions—to share that peace and sacred goodness without question.

There are NO conditions! There are no exceptions! The Light that I AM, I AM for the good of ALL. My presence serves the whole and when we are gathered again as ONE family, then and only then shall we be whole again. THEN the Universe will celebrate our accomplishments. Universe within Universe will celebrate with us—for the good we do here affects the good of all realms.

My light IS capable and will shine for the ALL and will not falter. As long as there is still ONE of us left searching for the pathway home, I will hold a sacred presence ‘round me, for that one. My committment cannot under any circumstance be tampered with. I remember that many will criticize my actions - yet bother me, it will not, as I remember my purpose To Never Give Up!

The stones and crystals will become my allies - a source of strength and love to inspire me. They become my playmates and co-creators. They understand the energetic patterns of the planet and from within can restructure a loving heartbeat. That vibration of transformation knows only goodness, a sweet trinity of the Father-Mother-Dove of Love. When other humans dispute who I AM - I have no need to argue - for to argue would be of service to the shadows of uncertainity and I AM certain that my pathway is to shine LightOnLight to the all who believe there is none - to those who feel they are not worthy. For the ones who feel worthless, are the most precious of all.

I AM a golden sphere of Love and neverending generosity. I live with the Love of the Father/Mother/Source and I AM always loved beyond measure by that source. I AM cared for when I ask for assistance."

Yes Dearly Beloved, finally now, you say to yourself—"As a physical being on planet earth, I remember to ASK for more...that I may shine so bright that those who feel no light of their own will begin to reflect that Universal sphere. As above / so below and as the great central sun illuminates the sky, illuminates other spheres with no light of their own, then SO SHALL I - always be bright enough to share my light with others. Thus when we gather with intention in ancient circles of ONE - in the power of 12 plus 1 - then we remember MORE again. Brighter the sun is within us resonating a vibration that others can match to activate their own light within. For I remember that I AM not the only one - rather a part of the whole. I AM, indeed perhaps first to awaken, yet of no greater signifignce than the others.

Blessed are those brave enough to remember now, for they become family in these moments. Blessed are the ones who live in the shadows of their own fear - who reflect this fear to others without shame. Blessed are they for they do not remember. But remember I DO. So my ancient contract continues - strong and silent—to BE—to SIMPLY BE the love of the all–a vibration so pure–it resonates without question. For the Temple Lights rise up around me and the heart of the Mothers Love surrounds me and the presence of the Father creates strength in my knowingness. I KNOW I will light a path for others.

When many say the lights will go out...believe it not, for I know as long as I AM - the light is solid and true in its impermanence. For understand the misunderstanding of this word ‘impermanence’. The light simply changes, second by second - but always there IS lightONlight. For as the changes on this planet increase, the power of illumination does also. There is never a time when there is no light - for the light is apparent in loving layers - ALLways present.

Dearly beloved you are...for you are the ones the world has waited for. The ones ready to prove without question, that the Light IS forever - as you are. Everyone is worthy and NOW marks a turning of the wheel of consciousness. No one will ever be left in darkness. Indeed, in this dance of transformation of light in the universe know even if there was only one of you, the light would still shine for everyone. One small spark can light up the world. Remember who you are.

We remind you that as each day passes, the light within you gets stronger, and so is the ability of this Island to hold love for the world. In your hearts you know it is so. It is this heartbeat that rises up around you - like the Ancient Temple Lights. Such a memory, for the heartbeat that is your connection to the planet from your starry source, is indeed a vibration of transformation that links you to ‘home’. Long have you waited for time to unfold around you in total loving support, that you could be in two places at the same time. We say now these possibilities are creating themselves daily.

It is often difficult to believe that the role you play in ‘Transformation Planet Earth’ can really be of any signifigance. Yet believe or not, it IS so, as you awaken once again to the concept of being Energetically Precise. Ancient concepts serve you well as you gather in loving intention.

Step forward from self-criticism and judgment, as it does not serve you anymore. Hiding from your chosen destiny hinders your acceleration on the upward spiral of abundance that is in place now. Continue to honour your old commitments to yourself yet be open to expanding beyond them. You have an opportunity of rising up beyond preconceived patterns and creating a pristine energetic foundation for the now. NOW is indeed a powerful time in the Universe for reinstating the White Light of Integrity - a foundation of pure love.

You are never alone on this journey, for the constant vibration of LightOnLight surrounds you — ALLways! The Grand Council of Light 1:1:1- via Gabriole/ 250-754-9667
