As we spread our wings and keep pace with time as it appears to dissolve around us, let us pause... take a deep breath... and stop... to smell the flowers!
Just in case you do not have a flower to call your own, we have gifted you with a beautiful one on the front cover. Flowers certainly have personalities of their own just as we do. This issue we are bringing you an array of people and stories that are as diverse as the garden itself, and yet when they come together in common ground, they are as colourful and entertaining as the posies blowing in the breeze. In fact we have brought together a series of thoughts to assist you in looking at life from a different perspective. Perhaps it may be to enlighten you with a concept you had not thought of before, or to challenge you to pay attention to love that goes on around you.
This is a fascinating time in the Universe, technology is so far advanced we will never understand it all in our lifetime, and on the other side of the fence, there is a concern for humanity in general that grows stronger every day. It appears that when we stay focused and do not lose our direction, we are becoming more adept at maintaining that fine balance between science and the heart.
It certainly would not be an "authentic" issue of ONE magazine if the concept of the "Big Heart" was overlooked. So snuggled deep within each page, weaving in and out of words penned to enliven or enlighten, is a delicate scent of kindness and caring, a sharing of the heart of the one that wrote the words. Words are always a vehicle - a delivery system - but love is always the fuel that drives them. We would encourage you as the seasons merge and as the sun shines longer and the winds blow warmer, to take a moment for yourself and feel the pulse of life in nature around you. We challenge you to watch carefully as young and old live their lives within the scope of your vision. There is an intrinsic beauty, a joy in that which is different, so we ask you to look deep into all that you see and observe the breath of transformation within everything, as we learn to Breathe in Love and Breathe out Love - until it simply IS the miracle motor that powers us!
May your lives be joyous and abundantly alive, as ONE step at a time, we pad out a path through the garden, that matches the pattern of our own moccasins.
This may sound unbelievable to many of you, surrounded now by the comfort of an "almost fashionable acceptance of concepts beyond the normal" but I clearly recall, a mere 13 years ago, when EAGLEye first flew around the Island. We had a vision to expand an awareness of alternative medicine / vibrational therapy, to create a positive attitude and showcase amazing stories that a handful of talented people were ready to share. In truth, we were often critcized for our purple ink that is now commonplace, and for supporting people who were "different"! To put the situation in perspective, these were the days when a magazine for herbs would have nothing to do with an advertiser sporting "intuitive" or "reader" in their ads, days when a local paper would not allow us to advertise the first Island Holistic Health Fair we were creating to place in their publication for fear it would upset their traditional readership! Years when the first article we printed on reiki was considered ridiculous. How we quietly smile now, as reiki masters are freely admitted into hospitals and the nurses themselves teach the power of energetic medicine, and the same papers that criticized us now devote pages to the very same topics and don't remember their old attitude. Though awareness and attitude have changed dramatically on all accounts, the people who were part of that first public movement will surely say... what a difference a decade makes. I only say this now to bring to light that the 90's didn't happen without a solid foundation set before it. It was only possible for readers and advertisers alike to swiftly shift a collective attitude at that time because of "the Ones" that came before us. Could you imagine how rocky the road for a "sensitive" person destined to blaze trails for the rest of us was... way back in 1940's or the 60's? Let's look back with gratitude.
The smile on Jena Duncan's face is contagious as she recalls the days of her youth. Hollywood scenes where she was a popular entertainer, not so much because of the uniquely beautiful 4 range singing voice, or her ability to walk into a room and dazzle a crowd when she sat at the baby grande. No, it was more likely because she "played the vibes" of the room, immediately surrounding the crowd with a peaceful healing energy. Nobody dared name it in those days, there was no room to acknowledge it as the healing, visionary gift she was born with. The only way to make it public was to call it entertainment and make it into something it was not. She gleefully points to a well worn poster on the wall, there is no mistaking the words boldly printed... Princess Jena from Outer Space! They were often lonely times of despair, times of misunderstanding and yet there was a force, a spirit inside of her that refused to give up. Thus she carved pathways in the mass consciousness before "vibrational therapy" was a word. She understood and healed animals before "animal communication" was a concept. Something inside of her knew she was different. The world was changing and she was a part of the shift as she become a Licensed Metaphysical Minister.
Today we would like to re-introduce Jena to you, not as a side show, but rather as a Contemporary Bioenergetic Sound Therapist. She uses "a new tonal psychology science as a healing method to interpret music and activate the profound depths of the soul". She brings solace to individuals with sound that reverberates from their inner conflicts and promotes a depth of growth in their consciousness. Using the piano or organ as a tonal medium, she has been gifted with the ability to translate the vibrations of a person into a divine experience. Getting in touch with the sound and color within (DNA patterns), she puts you in touch with your original "self" that transcends consciousness. As a clairsentient she reads your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual vibrations.
Jena continues to "tune in" for individuals and groups, creating a Vibrational Symphony for the all! She also plays tonal vibrations for animals, plants and houses! We encourage you to email Jena at emogene@shaw.ca for an experience you'll never forget. Simply enjoy the company of one of "the ones" who graciously paved the way, for the world of transformation as we know it today.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to attend the birth of my granddaughter, Sophie, with my son-in-law. I also had the privilege to be chief cook and bottle washer for the next five weeks. What happened of course is that most of my other "purposes" were put aside as I attended to this one new purpose: loving a new granddaughter, and caring for her Mother and Father, as they learned to care for her.
New beginnings are best taken slow. As I observed these new parents learning on the job, I considered how to be of help while not hindering or undermining their newcomer status. I quickly saw that I too needed to update my skills on what the current norms and expectations were surrounding the birth and caring of a new baby. It was clear that although I had experience caring for infants, the people who knew best about this infant were her parents. And so I saw my role as a supporting one.
The acronym S.L.O.W., which I discovered in a book called the "Baby Whisperer" became not just the way I and her parents responded to Sophie, but it became my mindfulness practice in how I responded to everything I did in those few weeks.
What S.L.O.W taught me was to:
• Stop
• Listen
• Observe and ask
• What's up?
This was a helpful and practical mantra that was completely compatible with Constructive Living principles. In CL we emphasize paying attention. Look, listen and develop keen observation skills to see things as they are. Then we ask, with the ways things are, what needs to be done? What's the next step?
As an example, when we hear a baby cry we can observe what the cry may be telling us: I'm hungry; I have a wet diaper; I'm tired; I have gas; I'm lonely and want to be cuddled. The better we become at listening and then observing behaviour, the better we can respond to a baby's needs. If we assume that crying only means hunger we ignore all the other legitimate needs that a baby has. It was a fascinating experience to observe even for a few seconds what a cry implied, what was going on, and to then respond attentively rather than reactively.
I used this mantra myself in choosing my actions throughout the day. When I noticed that my daughter was exhausted and her dear baby was fussy, I would pick Sophie up and walk and sing to her or let her sleep in my arms (no way to spoil a newborn). It was something I could do for both of them.
When my son-in-law came home I responded differently because I observed that he wanted to soothe or change or spend time with his daughter and his wife and this became a good time for me to finish preparing dinner.
During the anxious times all new parents encounter, I didn't dismiss their concerns or only jump in with my advice. Rather I listened, I observed, and I learned over time when to offer a suggestion, when to offer reassurance that I thought they were on the right track, and when to say nothing at all.
The idea of S.L.O.W has stayed with me since I have returned home. I have been thinking of how useful this concept would be in organizations and in our families. When you consider our fast paced and multi-tasking lives and our way of reacting to whatever current crisis demands our attention, what might happen if we took it S.L.O.W.?
Before we react to a disgruntled client, colleague, teenager or had unexpected change in plans, what would happen if we stopped before we said anything? What if we actually listened to what the other person was saying to us? What if we observed their body language and other clues that were so easy to ignore? What if our first reaction was no longer an assumption, but rather a sincere curiosity about what was actually going on? What might be the outcome?
S.L.O.W doesn't take lots of time. Reacting hastily does. We make mistakes, say the wrong thing, draw the wrong conclusions and can add fuel to the fire. It took only seconds for me to stop, listen, observe the situation and ask "what's up"? By taking these few extra seconds I was able to build my capacity to respond constructively to the needs of the situation.
How nice to be reminded by a brand new baby to S.L.O.W down. Try it and see for yourself.

Awarded THE ORDER OF CANADA.
Dr. Steven Aung has recently been awarded THE ORDER OF CANADA. Dr. Aung is our first teacher in Oriental Medicine and we are delighted that he has been given this well deserved award.
Dr. Aung is Clinical Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, Clinical Associate Professor, New York University, College of Dentistry, Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Extension at University of Alberta, President, Canadian Medical Acupuncture Society, President, World Natural Medicine Foundation, President, International Buddhist Friends Association.
The Order of Canada is the centrepiece of Canada's Honours System and recognizes a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation. The Order recognizes people in all sectors of Canadian society. Their contributions are varied, yet they have all enriched the lives of others and made a difference to this country. The Order of Canada's motto is DESIDERANTES MELIOREM PATRIAM (They desire a better country).
Dr. Steven Aung was born in Burma and grew up in China where he received his training in Chinese Medicine. He has a PhD and Doctorate in Geriatric / Family Medicine, so he is well qualified in both the Eastern and Western aspects of healing.
Dr. Aung's life ambition is to integrate both Eastern and Western medicine so that we have the best of both worlds. He is accomplishing this very successfully here in Canada and with his teaching throughout the world. His students are medical practitioners who wish to add a thorough grounding in Chinese Medicine. We were among his early students in 1989 1991 to receive this instruction that is now based with the University of Alberta in Edmonton where he also lives and has a private practice.
Dr. Aung is a practicing Buddhist and has also followed the practice of Qi Gong since childhood. He exemplifies the concept of portraying loving kindness as a basis of all his actions.
I well remember a time when he told of being in his car, driving some long distance, when the weather was particularly severe. He practiced the mental and breathing exercises of Qi Gong whilst driving to keep himself calm and focused he arrived safely.
Another story is of a visiting lecturer from China. The subject of sport came up in a class and the visitor said how he wished he had spent his youth doing Qi Gong as Dr. Aung had, rather than playing western sports, as he now would have had a good foundation of the art and a healthier body.
Dr. Aung is one of those fortunate people who require only four hours of sleep per night and can therefore do so much studying in those extra hours. It is possible that this is a result of his physical/spiritual practice.
His teaching is much in demand and he wished us to further our basic studies with many other teachers, which we have done. This is due to both his generous spirit and a practicality as we have found trying to arrange many post graduate courses difficult due to his heavy schedule. We treasure the experience of having been his students and wish to add a voice of further congratulations upon receipt of this honour. www.lieutenantgovernor.ab.ca/aoe/aung.cfm

There's a saying that goes something like this, "whether you think you can or whether you think you can't you are probably right"! I don't think that there has been a truer statement made! And what this really means is you believe anything you tell yourself, you believe everything you say! You can be all that you want to be and you can have anything you want! Just by using the power of your own mind, creating positive affirmations, visualizations, some concentration and determination, you can accomplish ANYTHING! Yes that's right, ANYTHING!! The power of the mind is amazing and it is what you are already using to create your own reality whether you know it or not.
Hypnotherapy can help you build a stronger connection that will enable you further tap into that power. The practices that I mentioned above are really all that hypnosis is. A hypnotherapist is someone who guides you along in these practices, but all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Hypnosis, then, is really you telling yourself that you can be whatever it is you want to be or that you can have whatever it is in your life that you want to have. It is you creating your reality. Remember, no one is creating this reality but you. Not your spouse, your neighbour nor your hypnotherapist only you! You will not and can not do anything under hypnosis that you are not willing to do. In other words, if you think hypnosis is a power held over and above your conscious thought, it is not! All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Anyone can be hypnotized, it just takes some people longer to enter the trance state.
Think back to a time when you really, really wanted something and you got it. Do you remember the concentration that went into that want? Do you remember the vision or feeling you had of getting it? Do you remember the positive thoughts and affirmations that went into creating your reality? All those aspects played a part in you achieving what you wanted! That's a form of self hypnosis. Now think of something that you didn't get, something you really, really wanted, you wished for it, ached for it, but somewhere lurking inside there was a doubt. It may have been small but still, a doubt that said, "Oh I'll never get that", or "I'm sure it probably won't ever happen". While you may have been thinking you were talking yourself into your particular want or need, somewhere inside of you, you were also talking yourself out of it! No one else was responsible for the outcome, just you. There may have been someone that told you you couldn't do it, get it or be it, but the result came from your own belief about the outcome. This is where hypnotherapy comes in. By using the tools that your hypnotherapist can provide, you will learn to create a reality that fits just the way you want it to. For example, your hypnotherapist can provide you with a script using your own words and thoughts to help lead you towards the things you want or make the changes you want in your life. During a consultation you will be asked questions about your thoughts and ideas on the subject at hand. Then a script will be developed from your words and thoughts. You will be guided into a state of relaxation that will provide you with information that your mind can use, without interruption, to begin creating your own reality. You will be able to gain or accomplish whatever it is you want to gain or accomplish.
It really is easy, really is profound! It can be life altering! You can improve your health, your wealth, diminish your phobias, obtain your goals and, well, and get pretty much what you want out of life! That is IF you want it badly enough! If you want, I can show you how!

Nanaimo and Vancouver are in for a rare treat as Dr. Jerry Tennent, a world-renowned medical doctor comes to speak and teach.
Dr. Jerry Tennant is founder and director of the Tennant Institute of Integrative Medicine in Dallas, Texas. Educated at Harvard University, he is a diplomat of the Academy of Ophthalmology and the Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery. He has over 15 years practice in energetic medicine, treating thousands of terminally ill patients. He lectures on Integrative Medicine, is the author of several books, and has several patents and others pending.
A highly sought-after and well-respected physician he shares his own personal story of being bedridden for 7 years and how he came to be introducted into energetic medicine. His gentle, easy approach and simplistic ways of explaining and understanding the human body makes his talks enjoyable and thought provoking.
Educated at Harvard University, he graduated in the top 10 of his class at the tender young age of 23. While doing research on a new procedure (laser eye surgery) it was not known at the time that the viruses of the cornea were not killed by the laser and were able to pass through surgical masks and enter the brain. He developed viral encephalitis and a bleeding disorder that confined him to bed for next 7 years. On good days he could manage to read a paper for 2-3 hours and think well enough to understand what he read only to have his body switch off like a light bulb after which all coherent reasoning was gone.
One day he received a letter from a friend who had been diagnosed with a terminal lymphoma and had been treated with energetic medicine. The treatment on her body was primarily done with electronics and other forms of energy with no ingestion of medications. Her tumors disappeared in a few days. Spurred by this exciting revelation he began researching and understanding the dynamics behind energetic medicine and subsequently healed himself.
Dr. Tennant created the "Tennant Biomodulator PLUS" Cybernetic Biofeedback Advanced "SCENAR" Technology. For the past 15 years he has treated thousands of terminally ill and chronically ill patients with energetic and nutritional medicine. He will be speaking in Nanaimo May 9 and Vancouver May 10. He will also be offering a 2 day course intensive in Vancouver May 11 & 12.

Spring is in the air and with it comes thoughts of renewal and quite often changes. Unlike the fall and winter when we tend to "hunker down", we all seem to be more open to making changes during the warmer months. Whether we just get rid of some old clothes, clean out the garage, plant a garden, or rearrange the furniture, most of us want to make some adjustment somewhere. For some of us it could even mean finding a new place to call home.
Many of the calls I receive this time of year come from people who have been thinking about moving for months, and are now ready to put their thoughts into action. Some are new to the process of buying or selling a home, and some have done it many times before. In either case, most people consider it a major decision and they want to make sure they have all the information they need to make the right choices. This is where I come in. Their first question to me is " how's the real estate market these days?" My style is always to tell it like it is, and so at this moment my answer to this question would be "Hot, hot, hot!"
To give you an idea of what is happening in central Vancouver Island, here are some figures from the Nanaimo area comparing this year to last year:
| *CURRENT MONTH | THIS YEAR | LAST YEAR | %CHANGE |
| LOTS: AVERAGE SELL PRICE | $120,354 | $94,715 | 27% |
| SINGLE FAMILY HOME: AVERAGE SELL PRICE | $303,279 | $246,461 | 23% |
| CONDO APARTMENT: AVERAGE SELL PRICE | $191,045 | $124,553 | 53% |
| CONDO TOWNHOUSE: AVERAGE SELL PRICE | $217,820 | $135,273 | 61% |
*source Vancouver Island Real Estate Board.
From these figures you can see prices are definitely on the rise in all categories and have been for the last few years. A question I am often asked is "does that mean it's time to buy, or does it mean it's time to sell?" I answer in this way "Buying or selling is always a very personal and individual decision. Without sitting down with you and discussing your special circumstances, I can't give you a fair answer to that question."
If you are a first time buyer and wondering if you've waited too long and worried there's no longer anything you can afford, be assured there are still plenty of opportunities out there. You may be pleasantly surprised at just what may be available to you. If on the other hand, you are currently a homeowner and considering selling, there are many things to take into consideration.
Two questions I keep hearing these days are "Do you think prices will continue to rise until the upcoming Olympics in 2010? Should I buy now and sell then?" From the history of the housing markets in cities which have formerly hosted the Olympics the answer to both questions would likely be "yes". However, a crystal ball is not included when they give you your real estate license, so it is ultimately your decision.
What I do know is this; every day more and more people visit this fabulous jewel we call Vancouver Island. Most feel they have never been anyplace more beautiful in their lives. They fall in love with it here, like so many of us did, and they decide to buy. They're from all over Canada, the U.S., Europe, Great Britain, Hong Kong, you name it. Is that likely to change any time soon? I doubt it. Would I personally rather live anywhere else? Nope! How about you?

Everyday we share our lives with plants and use them to nourish and heal our physical bodies. When we consciously connect with the energies of these plants we are able to integrate their wisdom into other aspects of our lives.
Dandelion is a wonderful example. She bursts onto the scene with an abundance of spirit that quickly transforms any available green space into a countless earthbound suns. From a suburban lawn to a crack in the sidewalk... she is there challenging us to rise up and claim our passion.
For all of her exuberance, no two leaves are the same. Dandelion seems to have harnessed the boundless power of the sun in her ability to recreate and express herself. Dandelion urges us to share our newly emerging selves and creative ideas with her trademark courage and joy... unattached to the outcome. This is not a time to strive for perfection. It is a time for surrender, for casting our seeds into the wind and seeing what grows.
People with Dandelion as a spirit guide are easy to spot. They light up a room when they enter and people are naturally drawn to their enthusiasm and strength. They look at all problems as creative challenges and are bored when they've perfected something. To an outsider they seem to be dabbling in many divergent areas, but they can see the bigger picture. They are drawn to causes and opportunities to share ideas and information in new ways. They thrive in groups based on equality, common goals and a strong sense of community. Gnashing over old wounds or criticizing others is a tell-tale sign that Dandelion energy is off-balance. Their gift is their creativity and they are meant to share this with the world.
Here are five joyful ways to infuse your life with the abundant energy of Dandelion and remove old patterns that may be blocking your creativity;
1) Play! There are few of us without a childhood memory of this simple plant. Reconnect with your playful nature and remember a time before you were told that words like artist, writer or dancer were only for certain people. Grab a box of crayons, jump in a puddle, or stop for a swing next time you pass a playground. The fearlessness of play and the simply joy of doing will get your creativity flowing.
2) Reclaim the power of your thoughts and words. Dandelion seeds hold firm until the right moment when the breath from a child's wish can send them on a journey of a thousand miles. Our thoughts and words are the first ways our dreams are manifested. What seeds are you sowing today? Remember a worry is as good as a wish so reclaim this power. Replace limiting thoughts and doubts with a nourishing mantra such as "I have all the time, talent and support I need to (fill in the blank!)".
3) Surround yourself with positive people. Dandelion is known as 'teeth of the lion" for the tooth-like shape of its leaves. Are you using your teeth to bite deeply into your passions? Or snapping at others? Criticism of yourself or others is a sure sign your creativity is being neglected. Refocus your energy into cultivating a fertile environment for the juicy parts of you. Create a "pride" of like-minded people committed to the change you wish to see in yourselves and your communities. This could be a formal group or a simple gathering of friends supporting each other's journey.
4) Meditate on Dandelion energy. Visualize Dandelion's strong tap root attached to your tailbone, reaching down into the centre of the earth and grounding you in the present moment. Allow this root to gently draw away any negativity from within and around you. Create a large sun above your head and fill it with the blessings you want for your creative projects and for yourself you may want to include joy, abundance, grace and ease. When your sun is full, pop it and feel the warmth of this energy flowing into every part of your body and your personal space.
5) Just Do it! This summer, whenever you see Dandelion... remember her message "The world is waiting for your abundance of spirit, your greatness of heart - so just do it!"

Cells are the basis of life. Without cells we would not exist. Our 60 trillion cells roaming throughout our body are the blueprint of life. Like a computer's operating system they make up who we are. Each cell has its own intelligence and specific role to play.
Each of us began life as a single cell and once that wee cell became fertilized, all the other cells in our bodies began forming. This full-blown state-of-the-art production company transformed ONE tiny, single cell into a living, breathing, walking, talking, and feeling intellectual standing before the mirror today. The intelligence of our cells is beyond our comprehension. Imagine - 60 trillion cells inhabiting our body, and each one containing our original DNA and each cell knowing the exact role it plays within the body. Our cells record and store every thought, feeling and emotion we have ever experienced. Minute by minute, day by day our trillions of cells multiply, divide and die. Our body is in a constant state of repair and regeneration. Considering that: ~ the retina is replaced every 48 hours ~ the skin replaces itself every 6 weeks, ~ the liver every 8 weeks and ~ the nervous system every 8 months... there is no doubt that the health of our cells determines the quality of life!
What key ingredients do our cells need to make healthy cells? They need oxygen, water, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins, essential fatty acids and voltage. If our cells don't receive the proper nutrients in correct proportions, they become unable to communicate with each other. Without this communication our cells lack the ability to perform their required jobs. An example would be a company hiring 10 new people to pack and ship orders. If these new employees received no communication and training on what their job description was, that job could not be done adequately. If our cells receive all that is required to make a healthy new cell, then all the cells in our body can communicate with each other and get the job done!
Dr. Jerry Tennant treats terminally ill and chronically ill people at his clinic in Dallas,Texas, and has noted that one of the biggest obstacles in treating people with chronic illness is the inability of getting nutrients past a sick liver. Orally ingesting pills will generally enter and exit the body virtually untouched due to the body's inability to provide the necessary secretions to break down the pill. Dr. Tennant became very excited when it was discovered that the microscopic singlecelled plants found in marine phytoplankton completely bypassed the intestinal tract and sick liver and directly entered the cell. Bodies once starved for nutrition now received the necessary building blocks to regain health.
Marine phytoplankton is the key ingredient in a new ionic whole food source called FrequenSea. Combined with frankincense, aloe vera, blueberries, and cranberries it contains over 65 nutritional properties including all the amino acids, essential fats, vitamins, key minerals and trace elements, rare anti-oxidants, phospholipids, electrolytes, nucleic acids, enzymes and co-enzymes. It is a living food that carries electrical frequency and works with the intelligence of the body. It is believed that it is the combination and proportion of elements and nutrients that make marine phytoplankton unique and so effective in enabling cellular regeneration. The elements and electrolytes are almost tailor-made for the human body. Marine phytoplankton considerably increases the amount of oxygen that the body can carry. This is crucial for a healthy body and many people have reported that it has increased their athletic endurance and stamina due to increased oxygen levels in the blood.
Dr.Tennant has this to say of FrequenSea "This is the most exciting product I have come across. It contains almost everything necessary to sustain life and build healthy new cells. When you give the body everything it needs to produce trillions of healthy new cells then you get well. Mother Nature has given us a few true super foods on this planet. Frequensea with marine phytoplankton is a rare food that has virtually everything we need for a healthy life. The elements in it are tailor-made for the human body and contain all the raw materials necessary in one source in near perfect proportion."
FrequenSea is a complete whole food that supplies all the essential ingredients necessary for cell health. Health professionals are calling it the world's only complete food perhaps the most perfect food source available today.
We invite you to come hear Dr. Tennant speak on the benefits and effects of FrequenSea on the body.
Several months ago I was having a spirited discussion with a good friend about being present truly present particularly when engaged in conversation. At the time I laughed at his suggestion that I write an article on the subject! However, this topic captured my imagination while at school last winter and is an ongoing theme for me as I learn to be more present in my life.
So, what does it mean to be truly present? Let me start with what I'm pretty sure it's not. It's not doing dishes or checking email while talking on the phone. It's not interrupting that telephone conversation because "call alert" signals another and evidently much more important - caller. It's not watching the television out of the corner of your eye while helping your sixth grader with their homework. It's not absently-mindedly nodding and uh-hu-ing while your partner tells you about their day.
Being truly present is focusing 100% on the person you are interacting with. It is listening intently without judgement and without formulating your next comment. When you are truly in the present it is impossible to be thinking about what you are going to say next, because when you are thinking about what to say next you are focused on the past, focused on what was said, not what is being said. When you focus on what is being said you have no idea what you are going to say next, but whatever it is, it will be spontaneous and relevant. It will be honest and demonstrate true interest and care for the person you are talking to. Personally, I find these to be the best conversations because they are fun. The topic takes insightful, unexpected, interesting and often surprising turns. I find these interactions to be mentally stimulating, offering me the opportunity to get to know my conversationalist me on a much deeper and meaningful level. And people know when they are being heard. They can feel it, and it feels good.
However, there are times when we cannot be 100% present. Maybe we have the flu, just received some bad news, have a deadline to meet, or whatever. That's okay, so long as you communicate this to the person who needs to talk to you. When someone needs/wants your attention and you are just not able to give it, just say so. "I'm really interested in what you have to say, but now isn't the time because . . . . Let's talk when I can focus on you." When the people in your life know that you will give them the time they need, when you can be fully there for them, they will respect you and learn to reciprocate.
And then there are times when we have to be present whether we feel like it or not. For these times it is helpful to learn tools that bring your awareness back to the present and put distracting thoughts out of your mind. Try bringing your awareness to the center of your forehead or grounding yourself with the mental image of your grounding cord connecting to the earth's center. Keep both feet flat on the floor and face the person you are interacting with. If you find yourself wandering off, just bring yourself back via any re-focusing tool that works for you.
Being present isn't only important when you are interacting with other people. It is also important when you are alone. Are you in the moment noticing the color of the light? The slant of the rain? The way your body feels? Where it hurts? Where it doesn't hurt? Are you in the moment, or busy regretting something about the past that you can't change anyway? Or are you entirely focused on the future and how events might or might not turn out? As you ask yourself these questions, you are in the process of learning to be more present. Just being aware of these things is the first step in learning to be present - for yourself and others.

Most people think of the brain and the mind as being one and the same thing. Doctors, scientists and other highly trained persons have the same belief regarding this. People from all walks of life use the words "brain" and "mind" interchangeably.
In reality, they are two separate and distinct creations. The brain is a biochemical organ, a part of the human body. The mind on the other hand is a psychic organ attached to the human soul. Both the soul and the mind are connected to the Creator and the heavenly realms.
As human beings we are dual in nature, possessing both a physical body and a psychic body. Within the physical body are physical organs and glands. The psychic body which is contained within the physical form, has psychic organs. In other words, a person possesses a physical heart as well as a psychic heart. This is the same situation in regards to the brain and the mind, the brain being the physical organ and the mind being the psychic one.
The mind, a part of the human soul, has a profound influence upon the brain, the nervous system, the body and all organs and glands. It is the mind that gives us the sense of cognition and a sense of beingness. Both the physical and the psychic are linked so closely together that one does not function without the other. The physical organs and the psychic organs work together in a harmonious relationship. There is a Divine Intelligence from above that orchestrates all of this. This intelligence is part of the Creator or God source.
On a physical level, the human brain consists of four principal parts, the brain stem, diencephalons (consisting of the thalamus and hypothalamus), cerebrum, and cerebellum.
Although all four are important, it is the cerebrum that will be discussed. The cerebrum is the largest part that forms the majority of the brain. It is the upper area directly beneath the top of the skull. The surface area of the cerebrum is known as the cerebral cortex or neo-cortex. Billions of neurons are contained here in the neo-cortex. On an evolutionary scale, this is the most recently evolved or developed area of the human brain.
On a psychic and spiritual level, the crown chakra as one of the seven major chakras or energy centers is positioned over the top of the head and the cerebrum. It is through the crown chakra that the Divine Intelligence above directs energy downwards. This energy known as chi, universal energy or God force flows from the crown and into the top of the head.
A spiritually awakened or enlightened person can work with this energy. The individual through meditation and other techniques such as tai chi and dancing can sometimes feel this universal energy on the top of the head as a warm pleasant feeling. This means that the crown chakra or energy center has "opened up". As the universal energy expands downwards into the brain itself tingling sensations will be felt all over the head and within. This is an indication that the chi or universal energy, which is also known as divine light, has stimulated the neo-cortex causing many neurons to "fire". These neurons firing send electrical energy to other parts of the brain, in particularly the rest of the cerebrum. The divine light also travels to these areas of the brain during this event.
The cerebrum is considered the seat of intelligence where higher processes of human thought exist. The ability to read, write, speak, and make calculations exists in this important part of the human brain. The creation of music, works of art and philosophical thought originate from the cerebrum. In other words, some of your creative abilities are stored here. Always remember that it is the mind, as part of your eternal soul connected to the energy of the Creator above that directs and allows those abilities to manifest on the physical level via the cerebrum.
Now, as electrical energy and divine light enter these areas of the neo-cortex and cerebrum, brain cells that have lain dormant for a long time are stimulated. These cells become active and start to perform their designated functions or tasks. As a human being you only use about 10% of your potential brain capacity. When the neurons fire and these cells become activated, you start to use more of your mental or brain capacity. Thus, instead of using 10%, you increase your capacity to 20% or even 30%.
There are parts of the brain that contain psychic abilities such as precognition, dιjΰ vu, past life recall, clairaudience and clairvoyance. As mentioned earlier, the cerebrum and the neocortex make up the majority of the brain. It is here that many of your psychic abilities are contained and merely lie dormant. The brain cells within these areas, when activated, will awaken these psychic abilities and gifts.
This is partly why spiritual enlightenment and divine inspiration occur when the crown chakra is opened and activated. Divine light and wisdom enter into the crown energy center as well as energizing these areas of the brain.
As you become more spiritually awakened, you begin to reach your full potential as a human being. Not only will you use a greater portion of your brain capacity and increase your IQ level, you will also use many of your psychic and spiritual abilities. This is the goal that a person on a spiritual path strives to attain.
An additional benefit is that the power of the mind becomes greater. Many enlightened individuals use this enhanced power in a very positive way. The ability to manifest or create beneficial things in one's life increases.
You develop the potential to direct or control more of your own life and your own destiny. Think of this example. Consider your life as a ship upon the sea of destiny. Instead of being a person aboard a wind-tossed ship on a rough sea, you are a captain and pilot directing your ship to your desired destination.
Truly gifted teachers, counselors, and healers are enlightened or awakened. They use more of their brain capacity and the power of their minds. They can influence people in a loving and beneficial way. These enlightened people use the infinite power of the human mind to help humanity.

There seems to be much fear about an impending possibility of a severe influenza pandemic. Obviously a strong immune system is a great deterrant but in case you don't feel comfortable relying on that, I suggest the use of a "zapper" as it is called by the inventor Dr. Hulga R. Clark.
Dr. Hulda Clark began her studies in biology at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, where she was awarded the Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, and the Master of Arts, with High Honors. She continued studying biophysics and cell physiology. She received her Doctorate degree in physiology and a naturopathy degree. She eventually discovered an electronic technique for scanning the human body. With it she noticed clues as to the cause of cancer, HIV and other "mysterious" diseases.
This simple device can weaken or eliminate viruses, bacteria, worms (parasites) and fungi. This takes a great load off the human system. More information may be obtained from Dr. Clark's first book in which she gives directions on how to make a simple yet effective version if you have some elementary electrical skills. If not, you can obtain one from someone else. Alternately, a more elaborate version is available from www.drclark.net.
So this lessens the fear of a pandemic flu or even the common cold. I have proved the efficiency of this device when doing extensive assessment and therapy with machine called an EFPX/SCIO or in Europe the QXCI. I have found that those who have supplemented this therapy with the use of a "zapper" have a very much lighter load of pathogens to carry around in their body than previously.

We all ask for help from time to time. Sadly we don't ask as often as we might. In fact, those moments when we seek guidance can be few and far between.
We usually wait until we are in a deep dark hole. People facing death or serious illness & those in the depths of despair call for God's help. Why wait for such dramatic situations before asking?
We can ask at any time - about absolutely anything. Help is always available. There is an amazing resource on hand 24/7. It knows all the answers and sees all the consequences of all our choices.
This Guide knows our past, all that now is and all that will unfold from any decision. Ask for this help before you make any decision and you will know that the guidance you receive is for the highest good of one & all.
The truth is that without this Guide we are flying blind. We are lost in a bad dream of our own making. We cannot tell where our true happiness lies. Our worldly compass is spinning wildly from one extreme to another.
In A Course In Miracles it says that "a little willingness" is all that is required to transform the situation. When we become willing to ask for guidance, a new sense of peace and safety dawns on us.
When we offer our willingness to Heaven, it will gently do the rest for us. Sounds too easy? That's just because we've become such hardworking, independent human "doings". There is a better way!
It's as sweet as floating down a gentle stream in summer. You are carried effortlessly along. You have put yourself in a place of trust and co-creation with Heaven. There is certainty and peace. All good things come to you as you follow this guidance. Why not try it out?

Trauma of any sort be it physical, mental or emotional often leaves deep scars on our relationships with self and others as well as on our overall health. Chemical and emotional pollution of the parents will affect the fetus in vitro and continues on right through adulthood. Birth trauma causes not only physical shock and pain, but also induce fear and anxiety that later continues for no apparent reason.
Hormonal imbalance triggered by the fight and flight response, shallow breathing and either excessive crying for no apparent reason as well as repressed crying without tears contribute later on to respiratory problems such as oxygen deprivation, asthma and reversed breathing patterns.
Sexual abuse leaves its victims filled with shame, guilt, and low self esteem. These are often accompanied by depression, hypertension, chronic fatigue, as well as eating disorders. Surviving trauma needs more than just compassionate therapy, it needs to be based on cleansing the mental, emotional and etheric bodies that is critical to free oneself from "victim to victor" consciousness.
Yoga in all of its various forms can serve us as a perfect rescuer and complimentary therapy. It is an inner journey of love, forgiveness and compassion and can be our constant companions.
Hatha yoga is the 1st chakra yoga that is concerned with all survival issues and threats to it. We want to use asana (yoga posture) as a metaphor for life where we learn how to face any physical, mental and emotional challenges and threats to our existence. In each posture we create artificial stress and tension. We breathe through that tension and stress treating them as therapeutic irritations and then we release the posture and all the other previously undigested stress and trauma held in cellular memory from as far back as past lives.
I have witnessed such emotional releases in my Kripalu teacher trainings over the years, in my own students as well as in myself with dramatic results and emotional healing that followed.
With proper concentration the energy flows where the mind goes and physical healing follows.
Once emotional and mental pollution are out of the way, we can plant the seeds of change, create harmony and stop the energy leaks that leave us in pain, depressed and emotionally drained. Self destructive patterns can be reversed and we can embrace our divine self within. If we recognize that our heart and heart chakra are the biggest piece of real estate we can possibly own, and claim it as our best asset, it will take care of us. If you get this far you can embrace health, wellness and prosperity. Your life can become meditation in motion.
I had to create my own version of contemporary yoga as conventional wisdom of the past and present masters was not enough to heal my traumas. After leaving the teaching profession and social work I went to the U.S., India, Nepal, Thailand, Brazil and Korea to further explore and study not only yoga but shamanic healing, fire walking therapy as well as a host of other therapeutic models to help not only myself but all those in my teaching and healing practice.
In yoga the mind can transcend all limitations of space and time and lead us to the place of infinite peace and tranquility. The path to healing begins and ends there.
I like to use acu yoga and E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique) in my therapeutic model as well as do-in and Taoist exercises or Chinese yoga to compliment the traditional yoga postures and meditations.
Spring is a perfect time to tune into the elements of nature and nurture the new you. It is the time of "the cross" to embrace your divine self and ascend to the heaven on earth.
Join me in the yoga rebirthing process at Yogaworks and Monteray Center where each asana (yoga exercise) is a metaphor for life, nurturing all systems of the body. Yogaworks offers yoga for special health needs, chair yoga, partner yoga, yoga for trauma survivors and regular beginner and intermediate yoga.

Oh Happy Days are here again the sun is bright and you're my friend, Oh how I love to watch the birds again. Happy days are here again!
Yes indeedie, the crystal pup is watching from his starry bed and I and my friends are chattering with the crows!
What a life! I confess I didn't always talk to crows or watch the eagles nesting on the computer screen ( a live video cam or something they call it). Honestly, the other day I heard this eagle holler from the computer room and I ran in to see, and low and behold there she was calling sitting on her nest. It was most fascinating, I simply had to investigate!
Yes there were times when I was not so friendly, I was younger and quicker to judge, and I must say, THAT is not a happy way to live your life.
Some of you may be surprised to hear a cat talk like that but it is actually very common. Although I like to pretend on occasion that felines are "simply the best" the fact is we have our problems just like everyone else. One source of our misunderstanding often comes from the somewhat controversial topic known as "spraying"! Oh yes I can see the hankerchiefs coming out already, wiping eyes and holding noses! WHY? WHY? WHY? echoes through the corridors of time! Why do cats spray? Well let me "paws" (pause) to enlighten you.
First please understand it's an instinctive reaction, usually to a threat. To a cat that could be anything, but more often a threat to its territory. There is a book by Mordecal Siegal called The Good Cat Book (Simon and Schuster, 1981) and here is a brief excerpt.
Most mammals inherently struggle for territory in order to protect their food supply, but emotional triggers may also contribute such as the passing of another pet or a person, moving to a new house or having a teenager move out. Anything that makes a cat feel insecure can definitely be a trigger, an emotional upset in the family or illness. Cats are peacemakers and fighting causes us concern. Some cats who never sprayed before might start at a ripe old age when a piece of their favorite furniture is replaced by a new one. Of course that really makes an owner mad which compounds the problem tenfold!
Right off the bat, you always need to talk to your cat and explain what is going on in the household. Remember we are smart and can support you if we have the facts. Animals take things personally and will sometimes feel they are at fault if there is trouble in the air. When you are preparing to move, explain the situation before the packing boxes arrive. Remind your pet that it is not being left behind or if they are, BE HONEST and make sure you tell them you will always love them and make proper arangements for their care before you leave, so you can visit them in their new home.
The instincts for territory are especially strong in a cat. Despite the many generations of domesticity in the typical house cat, the instinct to claim and defend territory is natural. This fact is of vital improtance to cat owners because it explains why their pets may become upset with a new cat, a human they do not trust, visiting cats or a move to a new house. From the family cat's point of view, any change affecting territory is a threat to survival.
Reactions of course are always different. Some cats will accept nearly anyone with complete love and joy. Male cats will sometimes accept numerous females but will raise the roof if another male appears on the scene (especially if the male is "intact" so to speak). Many females are actually more territorial than males and do not take kindly to a new female. That will explain why brothers or sisters from a litter are the best of friends, they grew up together and there is a built-in bond/trust already in place.
The fact is cats can't put up fences, read signs or create verbal boundries,so they use the universal language of scent to define their real estate. In some cases though urinating away from the litter box is a call for help or may indicate a physical problem that needs to be addressed. Cats squat to urinate and will thus create a wet spot on a flat surface. However when spraying, they stand up and squirt a stream of urine at a vertical object. A wet spot that extends up the wall or side of a chair indicates spraying.
You may not realize that spraying is not the only way we mark our turf. Scent glands located on either side of our faces and on our paws allow us to be more subtle in marking our favorite things like people by rubbing against them or scratching. I myself, am particulary fond of rubbing my furry face on the computer monitor, after all I don't want those strays messing with my column, now do I! This is also why you can't hide from your dearest companion when you go visiting and make a fuss over some other fluff ball. Old faithful at home will know as soon as you walk in the door that you've been up to something, though is usually not such a big deal as the real thing showing up in the hallway. The scent glands are all but invisible to a human, but what do you do about the smelly problem of urine or spray?
Well fear not, there are expensive comercial products available but today I'm going to give you my personal secret formula for neutralizing the scent. Get ready to toot the horns for... white vinegar! Yup - simple as that. Put it in a spray bottle and spray it directly on the offending location and wipe it off. If the area is porus like wood let a little soak in (cause you can bet the spray did). You may smell vinegar for a short bit, but that will soon be gone whereas urine/spray last a very long time or never seem to go awy. You can add it to the laundry, put it in the floor washing bucket and you'll come up sparkling and fresh. Use your imagination!
Well that's it from the King in his castle - Sending you a big purr and furry smiles, xo SK/CP
There are many ways to approach listening and communication. This article will touch on an effective approach many of our educated professionals in the field of counseling have discovered: a method that empowers the people you are speaking with to find their own answers, while verbalizing their concerns to you.
We communicate using much more than just words. Behind the words are feelings, beliefs and values. A good listener can allow the other person to speak without interrupting them, judging them, or trying to change their point of view. The person you're listening to may feel most heard if you simply reflect the feelings in what they are saying, not the words they're using.
Empathic Listening is an effective form of communication that can offer the person you're listening to an opportunity to vent their thoughts while acting as a mirror so they can hear themselves and therefore be free to sort out their feelings. This is a process that can be very healing. It means listening with kindness and consideration, not pity or sympathy. The goal is to be understanding so you can validate the person's feelings and support the solutions they find for themselves. Feeling sorry for somebody (sympathy), may inadvertently give them the message that you believe they are a helpless victim who is unable to empower him or herself.
How do you listen with empathy? Be totally present with the person, while remaining relaxed and attentive. Don't forget to use your breathing as a way to release tension and remain present. Watch for non-verbal communication such as cues from your own body and theirs. Listen closely and reply using neutral, non-judgmental statements that allow the other person to feel safe and free to be totally honest. Focus on the statements made by them that are the most positive and empowering. Stick with the content of what the other person is saying and respond only to what you hear. Don't present your own opinions or make assumptions. Refrain from being critical or taking sides. Give lots of attention to the other person's feelings, stay tuned in, and don't allow your mind to wander. You are now honoring and accepting this person while they work through their process. You are also sending a clear message that you believe in them and know that they can find their own answers.
Creating a receptive space is also important. Create an environment without distractions; turn off the TV and telephone, find a place to be alone so the flow of the conversation won't be disrupted.
Don't forget the importance of confidentiality. Keeping the conversation private and confidential will build valuable trust. Think of how safe it feels to share your thoughts knowing that your words will go no further than the person you just shared with.
Awareness of yourself and the other person is the key. By being aware of how you interact with others, you can potentially create a much deeper and more meaningful connection with the people in your life. At first it may feel uncomfortable to use these tools, but with practice they will soon become natural. The benefit is that they could add a great deal of depth and understanding to your relationships and bring more joy into your life. They can open the channels of communication and allow for more honesty. You will find that by communicating in this way you will have less conflict and more harmony with the people you care about.

As daffodils waved from the balcony, I tended my own inner garden by doing what everyone does on a lazy day... I turned with expectation to... Your Horoscope: April 3, 2006 CAPRICORN
"Go through your possessions, and assess what you have but no longer need and what you need and don't have."
EASY! Easy as onetwo- three! So, step 1: let me look at my possessions; kitchen stuff already in yellow crates, pots and pans stuffed inside my van, bedding, towels, sheets, and clothing folded on the bottom of wardrobe boxes. Books laying end to end on a long shelf. All the screws and bolts from a hundred year old oak desk (takenapart- so-we-could-move-it-downstairs- easier) tied in a plastic bag so as not to lose them. A couple of chairs I've been meaning to re-cover for nine years are covered with blankets. Bicycle propped on its stand beside my file cabinet, helmet and gloves attached to handlebars in ready to go position. Oh yeah, a couple of back packs, that's me. Me, myself and my stuff - we'd all fit in 2 van loads, or one airplane heading to Who-Knows-Where-Or-Why. Just about sums up "my possessions".
Now step 2. Assess what you have but no longer need. You mean release the things you no longer love and use? Aha! What I no longer need is that sharp obervant I KNOW character bouncing up and down for attention, the memories encrypted in buffalo burgers and Beaujolais, dinner plates I've kept from the wedding registry pattern, the usual suspect gifts associated with guilt and identity.
I'm not one of those people keeping things just in case am I? Once I've wrestled my emotional clutter(s), wrapped "them" in yesterday's newspaper, and tiptoed out to the dumpster, will I be "good to go"? I contemplate clutter of the mind!
OK now the final step! What do I need that I don't have?
There's no doubt I have a rich inner life. I have money. I have time.I have energy.Ihave friends. I have visiting vistas of landscapes floating and fading as my waking mind returns to my meditating-body.
So what I could use? MORE proof! More trust, as I struggle with my belief systems in relationship to the global sense of others. Proof that others are taking care of their personal stuff in the best way they know how. By shining my light, I can perhaps walk clearly on my path clutter free with a higher vision of who I am, trust that I can quiet the clatter of all those echoing promises made so long ago. Tomorrow is taking shape from the collective results of today.
What I no longer need is: Fear that I'm not good enough to step into my higher path. Total trust that all my needs are being taken care of. I repeat - All my needs are being taken care of. I can only trust. Until I'm out of fear I can never give up!

What is Astrology?
Astrology is the ancient art of interpreting what affect the planets have on you as an individual, or a particular country, place or event. Your chart is worked out according to the position the planets using your birth place, date and time. Asteroids are now often included in this picture.
What is Intuitive Astrology?
Intuitive Astrology is an astrological reading where the intuitive astrologer sees/senses information from your chart and through the impressions received is able to give you the knowledge that is most pertinent to you at the time.
How does intuitive astrology differ from mainstream astrology? Most astrologers will interpret your chart by using their astrological knowledge as the starting point for your reading. Some also include an element of intuition. An intuitive astrologer looks at your chart and uses the impressions they receive from their intuition as a focus for your reading. This means that you often receive information during an intuitive reading that you may otherwise not find out. Intuitive and mainstream readings can be complementary.
What are the advantages of intuitive astrology? The intuitive astrologer is able to see connections which are not normally taught in mainstream astrology. By tuningin to your personal chart, an intuitive astrologer can tell you what is happening in your life, what route is best indicated, and how to best reach your potential.
Choices It is important that you make the final choices yourself based on what feels right to you at that time. Nothing is set in stone, although there is often one or more choice/s which allows life to flow more easily, providing you can surrender to this by letting go of any fears or concerns around your choice. Whatever path you choose it is always the best one for you. There are no rights or wrongs: every experience is valuable.

You
Only Have
What You Give.
It's By
Spending Yourself
That You Become
Rich.
I have lived with passion and in a hurry, trying to accomplish too many things. I never had time to think about my beliefs until my 28-year-old daughter Paula fell ill. She was in a coma for a year and I took care of her at home, until she died in my arms in December of 1992.
During that year of agony and the following year of my grieving, everything stopped for me. There was nothing to do just cry and remember. However, that year also gave an opportunity to reflect upon my journey and the principles that hold me together. I discovered that there is consistency in my beliefs, my writing and the way I lead my life. I have not changed, I am still the same girl I was fifty years ago, and the same young woman I was in the seventies. I still lust for life, I am still ferociously independent, I still crave justice and I fall madly in love easily.
Paralyzed and silent in her bed, my daughter Paula taught me a lesson that is now my mantra: You only have what you give. It's by spending yourself that you become rich.
Paula led a life of service. She worked as a volunteer helping women and children, eight hours a day, six days a week. She never had any money, but she needed very little. When she died she had nothing and she needed nothing. During her illness I had to let go of everything: her laughter, her voice, her grace, her beauty, her company and finally her spirit. When she died I thought I had lost everything. But then I realized I still had the love I had given her. I don't even know if she was able to receive that love. She could not respond in any way, her eyes were somber pools that reflected no light. But I was full of love and that love keeps growing and multiplying and giving fruit.
The pain of losing my child was a cleansing experience. I had to throw overboard all excess baggage and keep only what is essential. Because of Paula, I don't cling to anything anymore. Now I like to give much more than to receive. I am happier when I love than when I am loved. I adore my husband, my son, my grandchildren, my mother, my dog, and frankly I don't know if they even like me. But who cares? Loving them is my joy.
Give, give, give what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine.
It is in giving that I feel the spirit of my daughter inside me, like a soft presence.

Ashian Belsey Mirrors of Eternity (Reflections of the Soul) ISBN 1-900796-29-5 and Beyond Fear (Teachings from the Ascended Masters) ISBN 9547850-0-2 In 1996 Ashian had a series of experiences that changed her life forever. After an intense period of 'training" she began channeling for the ascended masters and was later led to work with her I AM Presence. They asked her to try and master every aspect of self. The masters say, "We respect and honour you more than you know, and because of this we will not treat you like children, instead we will treat you like equals and as the divine souls that you truly are." She now brings their wisdom and their message out to the world through these 2 books.
In Stuart Wilde God's Gladiators, Stuart tells his personal and spiritual travels in story format as he shares what to expect from understanding the darker side. He shares how to recognize misinformation and the layers of untruths. He tells us that we are not alone in our struggles, and that we have protectors, who are special humans that come to us and help us along our path. This book gives us the courage to "make a break for freedom" and to listen to our inner voice that can guide us through the maze of media, religious, and political hype. Dragonfly is the bringer of many gifts but let's look at one in particular.
Dragonfly spirit helps you to seek out the habits that need changing and brings light and transformation into your life. If you need to make changes in your life and health call on dragonfly to guide you through the mists of illusion to the pathway of transformation.
Herbs can be used to transform the body on a physical and emotional level. All herbs transform by balancing, cleansing, nourishing and supporting the body.
In the spring the plants are transformed. They have been resting underground, and are transformed once again by the warmth of the sun. Spring is the perfect time to bring about transformation on a physical and emotional level.
Three of my favorite spring herbs that grow locally are nettles, dandelion and chickweed. Using these herbs helps to nourish and cleanse the body after the winter. All three herbs are full of easily absorbable vitamins and minerals. Nettles help to provide iron and calcium and nourish the adrenal glands to give energy. Using dandelion leaves and flowers in the spring is cleansing to the urinary tract and liver. Chickweed nourishes the liver and gently cleanses urinary tract and bowels, calming inflammation and infection.
Plants can help us transform on an emotional and spiritual level as well. Vibrational essences work subtly but are a powerful aid to transformation. They help us to overcome old thought patterns and are useful during energy shifts to help us through negative states of being that contribute to or cause disease, emotional imbalance, or spiritual disharmony. Flower essences stimulate the body's ability to heal by restoring balance to chakras and energy fields, releasing old thought patterns and emotions that no longer serve us.
When I make vibrational essences I choose a strong plant at its peak of growth. I don't pick the plant to make the essence, but instead bend the plant into a crystal bowl, so that the plant is still drawing the energies of the earth. The essence is then created homeopathically.
These same spring plants can be used in the form of vibrational essences. Nettle vibrational essence is useful to release pain associated with endings and partings, and nourishes the root chakra. Dandelion helps to release tension stored in the muscles, it is useful for those who are high strung or hard on themselves, and to release buried fears and unhealthy emotions stored in the heart and throat chakras. Chickweed essence nourishes the throat chakra allowing you to let go, and express yourself. It is helpful to practitioners and therapists who need to be present and available emotionally to their clients.
Use spring herbs to help transform physically, emotionally and spiritually.

SHINE with LOVE from the INSIDE Out with The Grand Council of Light
Dearly Beloveds - Here we are at the time of a Diamond Gateway opening on your planet. A time when the Goodness from Forever is rising up around you - as the Star of Transformation awakens.
Now is a time when the Gold & Violet ONES pattern is closer to your hearts than ever before. This is the vibration of the 555 - The Christ Consciousness - The Christ One, The Buddhas and all the ancient enlightened ones who walked your planet. Understand this has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with the expansion of the heart of compassion and gentleness, yet a powerful strength to BE all that you are. It is a resonance of the Divine Mothers (the Mary's, the QuanYins and all the others) who have served as an example on earth of the power and truth of your ability to bring the love of heaven here and thus back to the very Universe itself.
There is an oportunity now to manifest a group consciousness of the highest sort - the Triad of the Fathers, the Mothers, the Transformation of the Dove with wings soaring. We ask you to consider for a moment the possibilities if each one focused on the good that they already are. Imagine the clarity of the heartbeat of the planet as more and more focus on the good that exists. Thus you recreate the White LIGHT of integrity and transformation.
The 555 vibration is increasing to support you. Each new moment links you to the All, for you are never alone on this journey. Your energy is also a part of creation - YOU are a piece of the tapestry and thus every breath you take has the potential to recreate a divine template within. We ask you to remember being centered in love. LOVE is the greatest protection system of all time - and you are perfectly capable of easily riding the waves of change when your hearts are strong like the Masters. YOU can make a difference by standing true to the values of peace, equality, forgiveness, gentle compassion and understanding. As you do - more will follow. Most are not striving to be part of a negative emotion, but are rather swept up in it with the masses. We remind you that as more of you Breathe Out Love and Breathe In Love until it becomes a new habit - then you will soon gift your people with a new vibration. The crystaline bodies within you are on alert to swiftly recode and reflect a pristine vibration worthy of this new layer of life.
Some wonder how to set a new intention when it is so easy to focus on your flaws. We invite you to find ONE beautiful aspect of yourself to focus on. EVERYONE has something worthy of celebration: kindness to plants and animals, a gentle ability to listen, helping the less fortunate, guiding the children, laughing a little joy in the shadows. If you focus on the good it spirals up within, VIBRATING and matching the higher frequensies being downloaded on earth at this time, dissolving weaker vibrations within and creating room for abundant good. Remember that creation and abundance unfold for the better when you are willing to release faults you "think" you have and give others the freedom to do the same.
The Christ Consciousness focused on the blessed within everyone and thus gave them space and permission to transform in all ways. Imagine the world where everyone lived likewise. Imagine your daily life as a reflection of the Abundance of Love in Action. The transformation of the universe starts here in the center of your own heart.
The Grand Council of Light gathers on the 11 & 22 of each month... 250-754-9667
